Mr Cool is another of the best in the Mr Men and Little Miss series. I'm hoping the next time I'm sick Mr Cool will come visit me and whisk me on all sorts of fun adventures. Adventures always make you feel better!

Not one of my favourite Mr Men books, but one which my daughter repeatedly singles out to read!

We've been going through my original run of Mr. Men books at bedtime, so you can imagine my delight as my daughter picked out one of the 'newer' titles during a bookshop visit.

I say new despite being published over 20 years ago, as this was the first by the late Roger Hargreaves son Adam to write for the series.

The story itself is a bit of a weird one as the titular Mr. Cool visits a sick boy named Jack and snaps his fingers to give the boy many adventures - it made me wonder if he was some dream like God rather than creating cool memories.

Spoilers for a kids book, but at some point in the story Jack no longer has chicken pox where my daughter noticed that instantly - so clearly she was engaged with it and liked the fun adventures.
