Adoro questa saga!! Impareggiabile! Anche il film è bello! Ma il libro di più! Storia incalzante e piena di colpi di scena, molto dinamica, proprio come piace a me.
Despite the length of the trilogy, the pages flew by within days. I couldn't put the book down. It was detailed, yet it flowed wonderfully. At its heart, The Bourne Trilogy is an action-packed detective story with a few twists. Absolutely recommended.
Fantastic book. Again, the 1st movie is good, but the book is better. The 2nd two movies are nothing like the book. The 2nd two books are fantastic as well. You will not have the plot ruined if you have seen the movies because they are nothing alike. A MUST READ.
I read this trilogy in the early 1990s and while I don't remember much of it now, I remember having a hard time putting them down. The plots were intricate and intelligent.
Best book ever. Robert Ludlum is quite a genius to have created a character like Jason Bourne. The book is loaded with intense emotions - pain, hatred, jealousy, and unstoppable madness. Just when you think that the end is close unforeseen complications arise and the events catapult out of control. Detailed, crisp writing keep the interest tight and in place throughout the 3 books. A must-read for everyone. Bourne, I must say is the finest fictional creation ever.
Amazing series. For anyone hoping to find the movies in written format, you will be disappointed. The stories start with the same idea (a highly trained weapons expert who has no idea who he is) but form there the stories head in opposite directions. The details and thoughts that Ludlum puts into these make it all the more real. Not an easy read, but well worth the effort.
Being a big fan of the Bourne movies I thought I would give the books a read as well. I am glad I did not read the books first as they are vastly different from the movies.Plot, characters, era that they take place, are all different. The story in the books, is a story during the cold war. None of today's technology but rather the tech of the 70's and 80's. The story is very good and the books kept my attention throughout. The pacing was good, as well as the writing. I found the repetition of some of the dialoge in the first book to be a little bit much, but it didn't detract from the overall story. There are better thrillers out there but these do rank up towards the top!
