I love Dr. Suess and this book is a great collection of Suess-isms for anyone from the teenage years to older. It would make a great graduation (high school or university) gift. This is another book to have close to your bedstand to just pick up from time to time and read. It will keep you positive, grounded, make you feel good along your life journeys and realize you are not alone.

I got this book from my parents, for my fifth grade graduation, and loved it. Not only did it bring back wonderful memories of poring over Dr. Seuss's books when I was little, it gave wise advice to follow me for the rest of my life. It gave me quite a few laughs, too.

From How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Learn to Improvise: “All I need is a reindeer. . . . The Grinch looked around.” And from One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, Take A Walk On The Wild Side: “Did you ever walk/with ten cats/on your head?” I’m not sure that all are included, but many, many of the favorite books are here, a lovely walk through our Seussical reading lives!

I bought a Seuss-ism book for my daughter's teachers to write messages in to present to her with on her graduation day. The beginning of school year I'll ask them to write on the "for those just starting out..." page and on the last day of school I'll ask them to write to her again on the "and those already on their way" page.

my teacher gave this to me because i graduated this year, dr seuss is always a fun time!

It is fun to have so many of the lessons from Dr. Seuss in one place. This is one that would make a great addition to all home libraries, especially if the entire Seuss library is not available.

The most comical advice was,"On respecting your elders... You must not hop on Pop."
I have a t-shirt that says "Everything I know I learned from Dr.Seuss" :0)

This was just a rehash of lines for the other books. I preferred the original. It had context to support it.
