I'm not a huge fan of reading scripts but I love the movie Twister and I love Michael Crichton so this was a must read for me. It differs from the movie a bit, but overall pretty much the same. I definitely liked Melissa's character more in the book than the movie.

An enjoyable and quick read! It was entertaining and kept my attention. I was very surprised how different the movie is from the screenplay. I am a huge fan of the movie and I equally enjoyed the book. I remember when i first saw the movie and it made me want to be a tornado chaser, reading this just brought me back to the excitement I first had. I was a little disappointed in Dusty, I enjoyed the movie's version of this character better. However, I liked the screenplay version of Melissa more than the movie. I suppose they didn't want her as likeable in the movie so you didn't feel bad for her when she just gets tossed aside.
The only negative I have is that Screenplays just don't grab you like novels do. They don't submerge you in the story and make you feel like you are in it, like you are apart of it.

Nunca habia leído un guión. Me gustó la adrenalina que te hacen sentir los personajes. He visto la pelicula, pero me gustó mucho la experiencia del guión e imaginármelo todo.

Meh. Sometimes I just like to find action screenplays to see how they are written and constructed.

It's a script with good scientific facts about tornados, the movie is really close to this script, with various differences, but I liked more the script.
