I love this series. This isn’t the first time I’ve read it. The books make me laugh. And let’s face it, we all need a laugh right now. The story is light. The characters are a riot. Stephanie can’t choose between two men. #teamranger

I will always recommend this series to anyone and everyone.

What? It's over already? *sigh*

I love to laugh when I read Janet Evanovich's stories. Stephanie gets in some really silly situations. And some really tight spots, too. I almost feel bad for her mother.

Ranger's a suspect in a murder (um, yeah, I figured out what was going on way before Stephanie did) and he's skipped bail on a concealed carry charge. Everyone seems to think Stephanie's the key to finding Ranger. Her archenemy, Joyce, who's sure she can haul Ranger in for the bail money, is following her. So are two toughs working for a mob guy who says Ranger's got something he wants. Then there's Morelli who just wants some time alone with her. Too bad Grandma moved in for a while. And Bob. And her friend Carol who's threatening to jump of a bridge.

It's 100 mph right from the start, but it's what we've come to expect with the Plum series. Always entertaining.

When I finished the first book of this series, I wasn't sure I wanted to carry on with it. Then I told myself let's give it a chance, and I'm happy I did. It's only getting better, and most importantly, it helped me gradually get over my reading slump

Stephanie Plum:
Joe, Lula, Ranger

Things in Stephanie’s world never slow down. Ranger has skipped bail, Grandma has moved in and Stephanie now has to take over looking for the big sharks at the bail bond agency. This of course brings trouble for Stephanie and her sidekick Lula.

The narrator was better this time still not great with the different voices but not as distracting.

In the sixth Stephanie Plum books she has more characters introduced, more man trouble, and more car trouble. There is a lot that happens in this book with another cliffhanger at the end. Stephanie's grandma moves in and she is hilarious as her roommate. She also gets a dog which is quite funny. This one was great and now I want seven up.

There was a change in narrator again, and I didn't have as much issue with this one. I did enjoy the story a great deal. Steph is a hoot and her family make you laugh during her crusade to solve crimes while gathering FTAs. Very enjoyable and can't wait to get to the next one.

It's Plum time again as Stephanie hits the books for Hot Six, the Sixth book of course in the series. Like the previous ones, I think what attracts readers is the amount of fun trouble and ideas that Stephanie has and gets up too, I love the humour in it. In Hot Six , the big bucks is on Ranger and since he is like the bounty hunter God and Stephanie knows there is no way he is going to turn himself in or let himself be captured she passes this one on to Joyce which of course never goes to well for Joyce as in Hot Six, she finds herself tied naked to a tree. Stephanie Plum on the other hand finds herself with a few easy bounties including her old school classmate Dougie ,which we see quite alot of him in Hot Six around Trenton he is known as "The Dealer" but of course Stephanie will find herself in trouble as she once again has a car or two blown up - seems like a trend for the Stephanie Plum books as I swear in every book so far , at least one of Stephanie's cars have blown up or caught fire. Seems like Joyce isn't the only one looking for Ranger as hot on Stephanie's tale is Mitchell and Habib who work for the Rug King and the Ramos family. Another familiar thread that you will find in Hot Six is a random dead body turning up as Stephanie and Lula decide to do a little B & E, though technically just the entering as the door was unlocked and find a dead body sitting in the garage. Your probably wondering too , what the dog is doing on the front cover and how that relates to the story ? In Hot Six , Stephanie finds herself sucked into a scam and ends up babysitting Bob the Golden Retriever and Grandma Mazur moves out of Stephanie's parents house and any guesses where she ends up ?
Another awesome and fun installment of the Stephanie Plum books and stay tuned for Book #7.

The funniest Stephanie Plum book so far. Just to mention the new characters: Mooner and Dougie, Mitchell and Habib, Alexander Ramos (I actually liked the guy!), and, last but not least, Bob the dog. My favourite scene was the one where Mitchell and Habib get Bob in the car!

What I'm kind of iffy about is the love triangle. Stephanie is Morelli's girlfriend, but she's tempted to cheat with Ranger. That's a no-no for me. If it actually happens I think I'll drop the series…
