This book felt like a side-quest. I guess it kind of is, as it leads into the next one, but it felt like a spin-off of the series. Maybe compared to the dense plot of the last book, it just had more filler. But it was entertaining. Even if I don't remember much of it.
Skye Hamilton is an interesting character (who's popped out of nowhere) with her love of Hershey kisses and ballet. It was refreshing to see someone intimidate Massie instead of seeing her punt everybody around again.
