This is THE book I recommend to anyone starting a raw foods diet. The recipes are easy, fast, and require no special ingredients or equipment.

I liked the short ingredient list. Recommend a slow progression into Raw foods. I found out that my body does not digest raw foods and was sick for a week. Wish I would have read the Infertility Cure book first thus I steam all my veggies now. :)

If you are looking for a great raw vegan recipe book, or if you just want to eat healthier and feel amazing, get this book. You can make all the food in 5 to 15 minutes. And there is no cooking. Love this book.

Although I'm not sure a cookbook can be considered "read" as in the past tense, this is a book I will continue to be reading forever - it gives amazingly simple ways to eat my favorite type of food - raw! I have another cookbook with great recipes that are usually time consuming and call for expensive ingredients but this book is for people like me - not a lot of time nor money - but want to eat as healthy as possible! I can't thank a special friend enough for sharing the many delights this book has to offer! A must have for anyone who wants to make their life a bit more healthy!

This is the third raw food book I've bought and it is also my favorite. What I love about it is that it explains everything you need to do in a simple manner - the other books led you on a complicated sort of scavenger hunt to make the entire recipe. This is a fantastic beginner book for someone who has never made a raw food meal! I cook a lot, but I've never made anything like this and I now love some of the recipes in here like the zucchini spaghetti, cucumber soup, not-meat balls or the not-tuna pate. Some of the things are just your simple basic recipes like a Greek salad or guacamole, but you need to start somewhere with ideas. This book also does not require a dehydrator or coffee-grinder like the other books do - just maybe a food processor would come in handy and a peeler, which everyone has.The only con I have is that I want more recipes - there is no way that I could survive for two weeks on all the recipes I like in here. Obviously nonone is going to like all the recipes, but I guess the problem with eating all raw food to me is that it is not very filling and I don't want to eat nut balls everyday even if I really enjoy them. I guess that I want more ideas for simple and easy raw food meals that I am going to love. If you are looking for some wonderful basics in the raw food industry then this book is for you. If you have accomplished this book and want to move on to a medium difficultly level I suggest Rainbow Green Live-Food Cuisine by Gabriel Cousens.

Raw vegan desserts are awesome because they look like junk food, but they aren't.

This is a great intro for someone who may have never eaten vegetables before. There are some really good recipes and advice in it (PB cookies), but many of the recipes are too basic to even be called recipes. I liked this book, but I hesitate to call it a cookbook when it is really more of an idea book.
