I read these books when I was in Middle School they really helped me through hard times they're such an easy read to in the stories are pretty great I don't mind the bouncing around of storylines and whatnot.
Easy read of fun young girls and their adventures over the summer. I truly enjoy reading silly books that don't cause you to think too hard about the different levels of the meaning of life. Although if you wanted to be deep you could come up with a few "deep thoughts" the book is trying to teach.
Each book was a great read. They taught about friendship and how to navigate life's problems. Everyone can relate to at least one character because of the diversity in behaviors and hobbies.
Book 1 - I finished this in 2-3 days - definitely a very fast read if I can do it that quick, but it was light, fluffy & fun. Perfect for warm weather, mindless entertainment!
Book 2 - Easily as entertaining as the first. I think I'm going to be sad when I'm done with the series.
Book 3 - Still as enjoyable as the first 2. Fun, light fluff, and still very pertainable to issues teenagers face with the attitudes they tend to have. I must read the 4th book!
These books were great and I am waiting for the fourth book to come out...(as well as the second movie). Just an all around great story about four girls who share a lifelong friendship and many adventures together. The action never stops..lol It kind of reminds me of the kind of things that Judy Blume might write about.
It was a nice change of pace in my classics collection (young adult series). Sure it has its real life lessons about growing up and dealing with change but it was just a plain wholesome "good read" at its finest. You didn't put these books down with a heavy heart, just a big smile...wondering what will happen next summer in "THE PANTS". It kind of reminded me of Joyelle, Alana Jen and Ginny if you just changed the names of the girls in the story a bit:)....What to read next....hummmmm. I will have to consult my list. This is a hard act to follow. You can bet that any book that I am reading will be put down when book 4 comes out!!!!!!!
Friendship+Love+Summer+MagicPants? What fun! The enjoyment I got out of reading the these first three in the series outweigh the disappointment of the fourth. The movie based on the first was entertaining, but did wildly digress from the novel, just so you know.
I read them separately. I didn't think I'd want to read 2 and 3, but I enjoyed them more than 1. Looking forward to the movie of 2 - coming out this summer, I believe.
