I like this book because it is relatable to what is important in a child's life at that time, having friends. It also talks about the troubles of having a friend move away. This was increasingly difficult before the mass technology that we have today as compared to when it was originally published in the mid-90s. I gave this book three stars because I felt that the book, while funny, was still missing something that would make it more impactful.

This was a super cute book actually!!! Amber Brown is an incredibly likeable and relatable character, and her emotional reactions to things are very natural, and I think elementary readers would enjoy her imagination and mannerisms very much.

This book would be goood if you like easy books to read. Short but sweet pages and if you had a best friend that moved away and you really miss he or she, this book would be good to make you feel not so sad about your friends leaving. This book will make you smile about every good memory you have with you friend.

This series of books was one of my favorites when I was little! Can't wait to share with my little girl!

This is a 2nd or 3rd grade children’s book. (Not going to count it in my reading challenge). I think young girls would like it. I am going to remember this series to read to my granddaughter when she is a little older.

I read this series when I was a kid, and so many parts of this book were iconic in my childhood. This was more nostalgic than I thought it would be - I loved the snarky voice of Amber Brown, and she has a lot of heart that held up over time. The first book was super quick to breeze through, but I remembered most of the details, which was surprising. Amber Brown was one of the classic series when I was younger, and I'd definitely be willing to reread all that I can.
