I liked this book. It was engaging and kept me up later than it should have at night. I would read anything written by Ken Follet. But it’s not one of Follet’s best in my opinion, so 3/5 starts.
I have read nearly all of Ken Follett’s books. While not my favorite of his, it was very interesting and engaging. A part of history I don’t know a lot about.
For the most part, it was written well enough. But the structure was a bit messy. Some parts were rushed while others were drawn out. It didn’t hold my attention that well; I couldn’t read more than 40 pages in a single sitting. The story could have been better with this premise.
