A passable collection, with Mary Daheim's utterly pointless/plotless and confusing story the only real let down and Cait London's story my favourite.

ok I was disappointed. I read of course the Kerrelyn Sparks story first (while I was reading all her other books from the Love at Stakes series). Apart from one other story this little short story collection was pretty disappointing (oh I said that already).
The third star goes to "Partners in Crime" by Cait London. I loved Joe Berenger and although his love interest does suffer from OHCD she is quite cute and lovable. Joe agrees because he stays around and together they find a way around her need to sort his stuff and his need to be messy.
"A very vampy Christmas" tells the story of Don Orlando de Corazon, a vampire who suffers from amnesia and works for the DVN playing a part in one of the most watched telenovellas on this TV station. It is a cute little interlude of a character rather on the outskirts of the Romatech empire. And even the vampire females of Roman's Harem deserve a HEA.

"The lords of Misrule" could have been so much more, but this regency mystery thriller with murder, sleuthing and some nice mystery man who helps solving the crime, was so jumbled and confusing. The characters should have been introduced better, even if the need for secrecy regarding the culprit might have been warranted to keep the suspense.

The other stories I cannot remember and don't think they are worth remembering. Sorry. :(

I gave this 4 instead of five because I didn't like all the stories, the last 3 were great! The Kerrilyn Sparks story was awesome! and I really liked Holly Go Lightly, But the first couple were kinda blah! Not really love stories.
