Kidnapped by Gordon Korman was about a thirteen year old girl who has been kidnapped and held hostage in the Rocky Mountains. She was taken by three evil people. Throughout the book she tries to escape and is finally found after sending SOS signals. She used cable cords from utility poles to reach her brother and the FBI. She was found safe in Denver.

Kidnapped is a dramatic story and the excitement is felt throughout the entire book. It was such a fantastic book and kept me hooked. I really didn't dislike anything about this book but, if I had to change something, it would be the ending. It was quite subtle and quick.

I would recommend this book to people who like thrilling and dramatic stories. It was action packed and it was engaging. I felt as if I was part of the situation. They were not just words on a page. I would also recommend this to middle school kids because of the excitement. You should check it out today!

Kidnapped is a book about a girl that got kidnapped by some guys, and her brother is trying to do all he can do for her. He’s trying to track her down till he finds the kidnappers and her sister. At the end it really doesn’t finish there’s another book part 2 she still hasn’t been rescued from her brother he’s trapped with the police because he ran off to find his sister when he couldn’t.
To me this book was very interesting because it showed how the girl felt kidnapped and how her family and friends suffer to find her like her brother he did crazy things for her like run away from the police that’s really dangerous while she’s scared and trying to find a way to escape.
I really like the part when she tries to escape I was so happy but then she couldn’t she was so close, I really like this book I recommend it because is like a mystery you never know what’s going to happen to Meg, and if her brother Aiden is ever going to find her.
It also talks about what her parents have to do with the kidnapping and why are they doing that to Meg for revenge on her parents. The parents fear their pasts and they have something to do with it that’s why agent Harris wants to know so badly, even if it kills him.

BOOK THREE: THE RESCUE
tI loved this book, to be honest, I expected the final book to be boring because I assumed the author ran out of ideas, but this book was just as exiting and thrilling. Previously, Meg Falconer got kidnapped by three people. One of them, who she calls Mickey freed her. In the third book, there is a blizzard and Meg is lost in the mountains. She wandered there hopelessly, until she found a telephone pole. She climbed to the top, cut into the wire and sent a SOS by cutting off the signal. Anyways, Aiden her older brother, recognized the message because a character did the same thing in his fathers’ book.
Now Aiden and an FBI agent went in the mountains to try to find Meg, but the kidnappers caught her. They wanted her parents to come to pay ransom money in an old mineshaft, with thousands of tunnels. When the parents got there, Rufus Sehorn, a person they thought was helping them brought the parents to the cave to murder him. This part made me anxious because I was excited, and nervous. Aiden and the FBI agent came and then everyone starts running through the caves. Rufus was chasing Meg and Aiden, but there was a cave-in, and Rufus died. Meg and Aiden escaped through a tunnel intended to let in air.
I really like Meg because she is brave and had indomitable sprit. I like Aiden because he was determined to save Meg, and I liked Mickey (Who’s real name is Sean) because in the end, he did the right thing and freed Meg.

The rescue seemed like it would never happen. Because of clever tricks used from dad's books, Aidan and Meg team up in the cold blizzard to be rescued.

I really liked this book. It was about this girl named Meg who was kidnapped. Her parents and brother were all worried so the FBI came and helped them. The three kidnappers, Tiger, Spidey, and Micky were not nice people except for Micky, who let her escape. She ran off into the woods, but they found her again and took her. Her brother, Aidan, and an FBI agent named agent Harris, went on a journey to go rescue her with the good kidnapper Micky, who they found. So Aidan, Harris and Micky are trying to rescue Meg from the kidnappers that took her . I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mysteries.

This is a fun series. I read it based on a student's recommendation. It is fast paced and exciting (if not a little silly from an adult perspective) and I am definitely a Faulkener fan. I will read the related series and have them ready for those readers who need action and concrete movement in their books - but who are ready for more than the typical grades 2 to 3 series.
