Heart-racing conclusion to the series! Book 3 finds us in a much different situation than I would have imagined from book 1.

I have to admit, that at one point, I DID have the thought of "Will this EVER be over?", as there is a certain pattern that keeps recurring throughout the series that began to edge onto redundant. It was however, necessary, and that feeling probably came from blitzing through the entire series in a few hours.

I really enjoyed this series, and the conclusion was perfect. Definitely recommend to any middle-grader that loves action-adventure/suspense. These really are some of the most clean of the genre, for what it's worth. No crazy innuendo, nothing too graphic, though GK doesn't dance around what can happen in a kidnapping. I especially loved how the author covers the EMOTIONAL and mental impact that the events in the Falconer's lives has had on each one.

Adults reading might get caught up on the slight "grown-ups are dumb" trope that shows itself in bits, but really, it made sense in light of the aforesaid mental and emotional impact that had occurred on the parents, and even the agents.

All in all, a great series. Everest is still my favorite of Korman's, but this one has definitely snagged the second spot.

Reposting from Book 1's review:
These books are leveled as early 5th grade, and that's also the age I would recommend. The series as a whole contains some violent incidences, but they are not graphic. Ex. mentions of gunshots, blood, physical altercation, but no specific details about them.

I like this book because it was true and it talked about how someone got kidnapped and they were looking for her everywhere. I would recommend this book to Amy because she would like to read this one.

How many stars do you give this book? 4 stars
Summary: It starts off with Meg suck in a blizzard after she escaped. Now Aiden and Agent Harris are on a look out to find her with a SOS signal Meg put out. After Aiden and Agent Harris getting many leads they finally found Meg. Meg is returned home where her and her mom went shopping.

EVALUATION: This was the last book of the series and the author really tied the first two books together well. I like how the author uses a lot of action scene and suspense. I'm now feeling good because the book ended with the ending I have been wanting to see.

The Big Idea: The big idea is if something's goes wrong and you are always worried, in the end it usually gets better.

Loved the ending. But (obviously) the title gives away the ending. HOWEVER, YOU HAVE TO READ THE SERIES BEFORE THIS TO UNDERSTAND IT. I MADE THE MISTAKE OF NOT DOING THAT AND DIDN'T UNDERSTAND. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE OTHER SERIES ABOUT MEG AND AIDEN BEFORE YOU READ ANY OF THESE BOOKS. I EXPECTED A FLASHBACK AND DIDN'T GET IT. I'm sure this book would have been amazing had I read the series before. Sometimes it got a little frustrating because the characters were being stupid, but it still was a good book.

Meg is freezing in the blizzard in the mountains, and her kidnappers are behind her. Aiden and Agent Harris are on the search, but are stuck in the blizzard. The kidnappers sent a mail to Rufus's website demanding 3 million dollars ransom. Will Meg be safe, or will she be in the kidnappers hand once again?

Personally, i liked the series. It was catching, and interesting. It somewhat shows the importance of family. This book is really good. I would most likely recommend this book to the middle school students.
