When she got stranded in the storm, she found a cave and decided to spend the night. When she woke up she was right next to a bear who was only a couple years old. The Kidnapped series is great! It has suspense, mystery, and action. If you love those things, than you need to read the Kidnapped series!
This trilogy is about a young girl named Meg, who gets kidnapped. Her older brother Aiden, goes through many challenging situations during his search for her.The FBI gets involved, and they have to search for both Meg and Aiden Falconer. Meg tries again and again to escape from her kidnappers, but she always gets caught. Its amazing how she never gets discouraged and keeps trying. Every attempt she makes to try and escape will have you on the edge of your seat. Actually, all of the things that Meg and Aiden Falconer encounter will you have you at the edge of your seat! Its a thrilling tale!
I love suspense because it makes you want to keep reading more and more! You can't put the book down without knowing what's going to happen next. I love mystery for the same reason I love suspense. I also like to guess what will happen next. I love action because it makes the story come to life! Lots of things happen in this novel, it is action packed.
There are so many other different reasons to love this trilogy by Gordon Korman.

This is the last series of the book. From all the series from the book I really loved this one because Aiden finally finds meg but Rufus Sehorn aka the blog hog was always working with the kidnappers and they never knew. Later on, he takes Megs parents to the kidnappers where he reveals that he was working with the kidnappers. Good thing that Agent Harris was on their side, he had saved them from a bear and the kidnappers even though he was the one who put the falconers in jail. In the end, The falconers reunite again, The kidnappers go to jail except for Mickey because he had turn to their side, The blog hog was shot so he died, and Agent Harris was forgiven by the falconers. I really recommend this book to whoever likes thrillers, mysteries, a warm touching story.

I have yet to find a grown up action thriller that packs anywhere near as much emotional punch as these less-than-400-pages of middle grade thrillers do.

I read Kidnapped 3: The Rescue by Gordon Korman. Meg Falconer is kidnapped in Book 1 and the FBI and her brother Aiden are trying to rescue her. Now in Book 3, Meg is in a cabin in the mountains and escapes with the help of one of her captors. Meg is eventually rescued, but the plot takes many unexpected twists before the exciting end. One internal conflict is this story is that Meg starts to lose hope that she will ever see her family again. She thinks that since the FBI has not found her in three weeks, they are not searching for her anymore. One external conflict is man vs society. The Falconers are upset with the FBI because the FBI has failed countless times to get Meg back and also put Aiden and the whole family in danger. I think the book was exciting. Gordon Korman left cliff hangers at the end of each chapter. Also I liked it because Meg makes the same decisions that I would and I like a book that I can relate to. I would recommend this book for teens, both boys and girls, because it is about teenagers and what they might go through when facing difficulties and scary situations in life.
