I received this book, for free, in exchange for an honest review.

This book is an above average supplement resource along the same lines as Prescription for Nutritional Healing (PNH). Like PNH, this book's main advantage is that it has a largely illness based layout which makes it easier to find useful information.

Also like PNH, this book has above average but not amazing information on how/why its supplements (herbs, vitamins, minerals) should be used.
I felt that in general most of the supplement information was at about google level. This is probably sufficient for most readers, but for someone who is somewhat knowledgeable the supplement information itself already it doesn't seem too useful. On the other hand, this book does contain a good deal of background information, alternative treatments, etc. that make it a useful resource.

This book is better than PNH in that it contains information on additional healing modalities.
This book includes aromatherapy, acupressure, homeopathy, etc. information for most illnesses.

The book also includes references and sometimes refers to published efficacy studies.
It also includes potential root causes, information on diet and testing information.
This background information, while somewhat inconsistent, is still much better than most similar books.

I haven't found any better books yet, so for now I'd suggest pairing this with other book(s) that have more in-depth information on supplements.
This book can be used to find possible supplements which can then be researched in the other books/online.

Its good for those looking for an alternative, but there are a few problems. It acts like Homeopathy and that one foot treatment medicinal practice can cure major diseases, but I like alternatives, just look on WebMD and check with a doctor (holistic or one who knows about it) before trying anything
