Oh, and I don't think that I even need to say that I'm team Kira. Who would be surprised by that?

I love the anime and I've never read the manga. I personally think Deathnote is one of the most well-crafted and gripping stories I've had the pleasure of coming across. Light Yagami is a completely narcissistic and has a horrifying god-complex. He's a fleshed out villain, who at times seems almost normal and charismatic. I always love coming back to the beginning of his story because I'v always wondered if the Deathnote was what triggered his traits to become fully revealed. I suspect he would've become who he was no matter what, but I think the Deathnote falling into his hands just pushed him to becoming a psychopath faster. The art is fantastic. The story is amazing. The characters are entertaining. L hasn't been introduced yet, but I'm interested to revisit one of the most entertaining power struggles. Ryuk is also the best. That is all.
