Not as good as expected from Anne McCaffrey.  Have the sequel but haven't read it yet.  I think if I read it not knowing who wrote it I would have enjoyed it more!  I wish I hadn't read all the dragon books, and could start again the magical years of reading! Ha!

A very interesting read of an old basic idea twinned to a futuristic world.  Enjoyable.

The further adventures of a sentient planet Petabee and its inhabitants on its surface and in the wider universe .

Thanks to the late Anne McCaffrey, a superb storyteller. She has put out many series, each with 3 or more books.
