Other than it's clear definition for emphasizing consistency which I think wasn't clarified well enough, this book teaches us the proper principles of life. It gives you a proper perspective of how you deal with things at this moment and how you should deal with them. There is also a tad of self reflection to this book which is really helpful. Personally reading this book, my favorite rule was ''first seek to understand, then to be understood''. This has deep and utter meaning for everyone. Something I personally noticed with supervisors that I had especially was that they asked the wrong questions. For example they asked themselves: ''Why can't you guys just sell better''. Rather than him asking as a supervisor: ''What can I do as a person so that my team will develop a more according sales mentality''. The last missing star is because this wasn't a complete book to me. It did however help me be a better person. This is an ''everyone book''. Perhaps that's why it is a best seller. This book is worth your time, and even if this explains nothing new to you, it would still be an appropriate reminder.

Interesting take on why and how people think, act and do. The Character Ethic versus the Personality Ethic makes sense when it comes to people’s view of the world: reality versus just the way they are from their vantage point. Interesting read all in all. Will read the book at some point.

I'm surprise now that I didn't give any rate from this book when I've finished it but realize that I'm not still yet over with this. For I need this first to comprehensively dissect, absorb, and synthesize. So yeah, I think I'll never get over with this since that process will take forever as long as I live. See, that's the level of esteem I have toward this book, I want it for me to guide in every course of my life.

If you want to really learn how to get the best of the time you have this is “the book”. Starting by the fact that the author explain that the best you can do it’s to focus on yourself and to learn learn to manage yourself and not so much your time.

He goes to the core of everything about been effective. This book really took me by surprise I didn’t think it will be so good.

It talks about how essential it is to clearly identify the values and principles that govern your life and how you should organize your activities around them. It sets aside things that aren't important or that might seem important but actually aren't. I highly recommend it.

It’s like the step by step to be effective with examples, also this book is supported by a lot of bibliography. The author really did his work very well.

Yeah, I didn't get too much out of it. It wasn't bad, but it's the sort of thing I found myself skimming more than reading.

He thinks modern self-help literature should focus more on building up a person's character, and that is the crucial foundation. Based on that, his seven habits are: 1) be proactive, 2) begin with the end in mind, 3) put first things first (so you work towards it instead of getting bogged down in day-to-day details), 4) think win/win when dealing with others (which means you have to be able to walk away from a deal), 5) seek first to understand and then be understood, 6) synergize, and 7) sharpen the saw.

Amazing book.. I referred this book to family, friends and even to strangers. I'm sure that this book will change the perspective of the readers on how they think and process the thoughts. This book really helped me to understand the real problem and also showed how to change our mindset to look into the problem. Great work by the Stephen R. Covey.

This is an excellent book. Has helped me to re-look at the approach that I was adopting in planning my personal and work activities and most importantly approach to living. This provides key insights for us to plan our personal mission statement involving family and work relations.

I will strongly recommend reading this book not just once but keep referring to it often during our entire life-span.
