There's something about Coelho writing style and subject matter that does not 'speak' to me as I think he intends to do for his audience. I will admit this was simple and quick to read and has good messages "reminders" for readers to lead life with as a better version of themselves. Irregardless, this is the second book of his I have read and found myself not impressed, and doubly not impressed with all the hype surrounding him. Perhaps it is a translation issue or it is just too simpleoid for me, an avid reader. His writing style reads for non-avid readers which is totally fine but simply bland for my taste. I will still try to read his other novels in hopes for progress.

Deserves another read to let a lot of the information sink in. I know I read this too fast instead of reflecting on the message.

Although there were a lot of really great quotes.

Πολυ ομορφο βιβλιο ενθαρρύνει τον αναγνώστη και δειχνει πως θα επρεπε να αντιμάχεται ο καθε ανθρωπος στις συνθηκες που του παρουσιάζονται .. Πολλες αναφορές και απο σημαντικούς ανθρωπους και απο μύθους , ο καθενας πρεπει να το διαβασει !!

This is an inspiring little book filled with big ideas. Comprised of short passages that can be read individually as daily meditations or together in one sitting, this is a spiritual guide for the human journey. Like Coelho's classic, "The Alchemist," this work will be more to the taste of mystically-inclined readers. It offers simple, yet profound passages of intuitive wisdom for fellow "warriors of the light": flawed humans, who are motivated on a spiritual life path to find an individual way to live a principles and passionate life through faith, determination, love, compassion, awareness, and self-discovery. I imagine this will be a book I return to again and again.

Everyone will read this book a different way.

The "Warrior of the Light" can have many meanings for each individual that reads this book.
To me, the Warrior of the Light is a parallel to a Kingdom Man/Follower of Christ.

Others may read it's text to take every teaching for face value. Which is not right or wrong. However, there are a bunch principles extracted from the Bible.

A great reminder to keep walking, have faith, come to accept life's contradictions, and taking the appropriate actions based on circumstance. A book simply about how to deal with the flesh, walk the path of purpose, and develop righteous values.

Recommended to reread. Humans are forgetful, we are designed for mental maintenance so that our sinful tendencies don't creep in periods of idleness.

This book has taught me so much about mankind, about our identity. Like a manual, the lessons are meant to be experimented in order to be fully understood. One page can be read a thousand times and still be forgotten. Although I am not religious, Coelho's writing gave me somehow faith, perhaps not in any god, but in the ways of the Universe. It is moving, and extraordinary.

Warrior of the Light is definitely a must-read.

Tersirat, 'deep' tapi menginspirasikan.

Tulisan pahlawan cahaya uniknya bukan seperti gaya penceritaan novel. Ia seperti membaca nota2 yang ditulis di dalam buku nota kosong yang diserahkan kepada seorang pemuda untuk menulis tentang Pahlawan Cahaya seperti mana diceritakan di bahagian prolog.

Pada bahagian prolog dikatakan,
"Pahlawan Cahaya adalah seseorang yang mampu memahami keajaiban hidup, berjuang bersungguh2 untuk mempertahankan sesuatu yang dia percayai. Semua orang mampu melakukan perkara ini. Juga, walaupun tidak ada yang menganggap dirinya sebagai Pahlawan Cahaya, kita semua sebenarnya adalah dia"

Kita semua adalah pahlawan cahaya yang sedang berjuang dalam kehidupan ini.

Musuh kita mungkin ketakutan dalam diri kita sendiri. Yang diperlukan oleh pahlawan hanya sedikit keberanian.

Everything written in this book touched my heart because I felt like it was talking to me. I felt that the author knew me when he wrote this.

Great short tidbits about life. A perfect book to read before bed or upon waking up in the morning. Very inspirational. I can definitely see myself reading this one again.

هذه الكتاب نستطيع ان نقول عليه حكم واحداث اكثر من رواية، لان اذا قلنا انه رواية فإننا سوف نظلمه.
مع جمال الحكم والاحداث التي موجودة في الكتاب هناك البداية والخاتمة الرائعة جدا من قبل الكاتب، أنا برأي انه ايظا ابداع وسرد جميل من قبل باولو كويولو ♥️.
بس أتمنى من كل من يقرأ هذه الرواية لا يحكم عليه من باب دينيه أو توجهاته أخذ منه ما يناسبك وتقبله بكل روح إنسانية متطلعة للأفكار الجميلة والمفقيدة.
