Even though I don't understand what the target is or, simply, where it wants to end up, I'm convinced that further on there will be some plot twists.

It can already be intuited that there is something hidden, but it's still too early to know what.

For the rest, I really like that in the narration some illustrated books have been introduced as in Chobits and that they are an integral part of the story. If the dynamic is the same as in this last work, I already know who draws them

I've had this manga sitting on my shelf for what feels like forever.

However, I'm not entirely convinced by the story.

Thankfully, it's only three volumes long, so there's still a glimmer of hope that it might improve as I read on.

not sure?

Maybe as I progress through the remaining chapters, I'll start to see the appeal that others might have found.

It could be that the initial setup was just a bit slow, and now that I'm more invested, the story will really take off.

I'm keeping an open mind and hoping that this manga will surprise me and turn out to be a hidden gem.

Only time will tell if my initial doubts were unfounded or if this manga will remain just an average read on my shelf.

Why do I feel that this adult version of Hinata is like Yotsuba...

It has a slow pace, but strangely enough, I quite like it. By the way, this is the "roughest" work of Clamp. Maybe there was a crisis in the Clamp team when they were working on this manga... *sotoy*

Perhaps the slow pace of this story gives it a unique charm. It allows the readers to immerse themselves in the details and emotions of the characters. Although it may not be as fast-paced and action-packed as some other manga, it has its own way of captivating the audience.

As for being the "roughest" work of Clamp, it could be due to various reasons. Maybe there were some challenges or difficulties during the创作 process that affected the overall quality. However, despite its roughness, it still has the essence and style of Clamp's works, which is what makes it interesting.

Overall, this manga has its own characteristics and attractions, and it's worth giving it a chance to explore and appreciate.

The story is truly remarkable. It has managed to captivate my attention from the very beginning. The plot is engaging and full of twists and turns that keep me on the edge of my seat. The characters are well-developed and their actions and decisions feel believable.

I found myself completely immersed in the world that the author has created. The details are vivid and add to the overall atmosphere of the story. It's one of those rare books that I didn't want to put down.

Given how much I enjoyed this volume, I will definitely be picking up the next one. I can't wait to see what happens next and how the story will unfold. I have a feeling that it's going to be just as good, if not better, than the first.

When reading this, it feels beyond expectations for a CLAMP work.

The artwork feels more shoujo, with less shading, thin and delicate lines, not too detailed, and a very minimal background (resulting in so many panels with a white background).

The story makes an ordinary impression for now. However, the presence of characters like Kizu and Tomoaki, as well as Toko's expressions, we can capture the characteristic CLAMP aura in each of their works.

CLAMP is known for its unique art style and complex storylines. In this work, although the initial impression may seem a bit different from their usual works, there are still elements that remind us of their signature.

The simple background might give more focus to the characters and their emotions. The thin and delicate lines add a certain elegance to the overall look.

As the story progresses, we can expect more interesting developments and the emergence of deeper themes that are typical of CLAMP's works.

Overall, despite the initial differences, this work still has the potential to展现 the charm and creativity that CLAMP is famous for.

The pornographic dialogue towards the end I found to be rather off.

This pulls the overall rating down by another star.

It really detracted from the otherwise decent experience.

The content up until that point had some redeeming qualities, but that particular aspect was a major let-down.

It's a shame because it could have potentially received a higher rating if not for that inappropriate dialogue.

One would expect better from a production of this nature.

Perhaps in the future, they will be more careful about including such content and focus on creating a more enjoyable and engaging experience for the viewers.

Overall, the film had its moments, but that one flaw really stood out and affected my perception of it.

Hopefully, they will take this feedback into consideration and make improvements in their next project.

The nostalgia of this series is truly palpable. It takes me back to a time when things were simpler and more carefree. However, there is also a pitfall that I can't ignore. The FMC (Female Main Character) in this series is just so naive, and it makes me feel a bit queasy in my stomach.

Her naivete sometimes borders on being almost comical, but at the same time, it can be frustrating. It's as if she is completely oblivious to the world around her and the consequences of her actions.

Despite this, I still find myself drawn to the series because of its nostalgia factor. It's like a warm blanket on a cold day, comforting and familiar. But I can't help but wish that the FMC would grow and learn from her mistakes, rather than continuing to be so blindly naive.

Overall, the balance between the nostalgia and the FMC's naivete makes this series a bit of a mixed bag for me. I'm not sure if I love it or hate it, but I know that I can't stop watching.

This bear story, which is constantly inserted between the main plot (Mr. Aso and Hina), is absolutely terrible!

Hina is very naive and impulsive, and it's annoying. And then she simply forgives her friend who has been responsible for her 10th kidnapping in total because her father owed money to swindlers....

And the romance between her and the 32nd teacher/bodyguard is hinted at but unfortunately doesn't materialize very well.... GRRR!

Moreover, the way the story unfolds is rather disjointed due to these frequent interruptions of the bear story. It disrupts the flow and makes it difficult for the reader to fully engage with the main narrative.

The characters lack depth and their actions and decisions seem rather forced at times.

Overall, this aspect of the story really detracts from the overall enjoyment and makes it a rather frustrating read.

I sort of liked it!

At first glance, it might not seem like much. But as I delved deeper, I discovered its hidden charm.

The way it was presented, the details that caught my eye, all contributed to this growing sense of liking.

It wasn't love at first sight, but rather a gradual appreciation that developed over time.

There was something about it that just spoke to me, something that made me want to explore it further.

Maybe it was the unique style, or the interesting concept.

Whatever it was, I found myself drawn to it, and I couldn't help but admit that I sort of liked it.

It's not often that something new and different manages to capture my attention in this way, but this definitely did.

And as I continue to think about it, I find myself looking forward to seeing what else it has to offer.

This is truly a strange one.

The more you contemplate it, the stranger it becomes.

Are we really expected to be enthusiastic about a romance between a 32-year-old emotionless brick and an underage girl who is depicted as if she has a rather severe developmental disability?

I mean, she is a teenager yet she behaves like a three-year-old.

It is extremely cringe-worthy and bizarre.

The intense chastity throughout the whole thing somehow exacerbates the situation.

Who is this intended for? What is the target audience?

Two stars because I simply had to witness where this slow-motion trainwreck was headed.

Spoiler - well, it's just 'eh'.

Overall, this is a rather odd and uncomfortable concept that leaves one with more questions than answers.

It's difficult to understand the appeal or the purpose behind such a storyline.

Perhaps it was an attempt to be unique, but in the end, it just comes across as strange and off-putting.

[2022 UPDATE]

When I was extremely young and read this, I had the perception that it was sweet, albeit a bit perplexing. As someone who grew up neurodivergent, I was able to identify certain aspects of myself within the protagonist.

However, as you reach your late 20s and recall what this story was truly about, a sense of terror begins to set in.

Moreover, when you also start to think about specific details from the Cardcaptor Sakura manga, you cower at the potential impact it might have had on your malleable little preteen brain.

This realization makes you question how such stories can shape our early understanding and perception of the world around us.

It also makes you wonder if there are other hidden meanings or implications in the media we consume during our formative years that we may not fully grasp until much later in life.

Perhaps it is important to be more critical and aware of the content we expose ourselves to, especially during our childhood and adolescence.

By doing so, we can better protect our developing minds and ensure that we are not being unduly influenced by potentially harmful or confusing ideas.
