I'm an extremely avid fan of CLAMP. I'm well aware that they have a penchant for writing about teacher-student romance stories, and this one is no exception.

The premise is quite sad. A naïve and kind girl lives alone in a big house, and a stranger moves into the house next door. Surprisingly, the stranger turns out to be her new homeroom teacher. She enjoys the attention (outside of school) that he lavishes on her. Her other friends are fully cognizant of what's happening with their friend and they attempt to warn her, albeit not in a direct and straightforward manner. However, she simply dismisses their concerns.

It's interesting in the sense that it constantly makes you ask yourself "why this" and "why that". But overall, it's just a story of a student having a crush on her new teacher.

I really like the art. Since it's the classic CLAMP art style, I'm awarding this manga four stars.

As an adult, I have been longing to reread some works by Clamp.

I remember picking up "Suki" in middle school. At that time, I don't think I really liked it very much.

I think I still have a vague memory of the twist in the story, but I'm not entirely sure.

The overall plot of the work seems a bit strange and perhaps not entirely appropriate.

Nevertheless, the setup is quite well done in the sense that it manages to arouse my curiosity and makes me eager to know what will happen next.

Maybe upon rereading, I will have a different perspective and understanding of this work.

I'm looking forward to rediscovering the charm and details that I might have overlooked when I was younger.

It will be an interesting journey to revisit these works and see how my perception has changed over the years.

This particular style of art is not really one of my favorites.

It has a certain charm that I just can't seem to fully appreciate. Maybe it's the bold colors or the unique compositions that don't quite resonate with my personal taste.

However, the story behind this art piece was truly intriguing. It had an element of mystery that kept me engaged from the very beginning.

As I delved deeper into the narrative, I found it to be a bit creepy, sending shivers down my spine.

But by the end, something unexpected happened. I started to develop a strange sort of affection for it.

The story had a way of growing on me, and before I knew it, I was charmed by its quirks and idiosyncrasies.

It goes to show that sometimes, even when we initially have reservations about something, it can surprise us and win us over in the end.

The overall impression is not bad, but there is a creepy undertone lurking beneath the surface.

It's as if there is something sinister waiting to be revealed, something that makes one's skin crawl.

The details may seem ordinary at first glance, but upon closer inspection, there are hints of something more disturbing.

The atmosphere is palpable, creating a sense of unease that lingers long after the initial encounter.

It's a strange combination of not being overly bad, yet having that underlying creepiness that keeps one on edge.

It makes you wonder what exactly is going on and what secrets are hidden within.

This creepy undertone adds an element of mystery and intrigue, making it difficult to simply dismiss.

It forces you to pay closer attention and try to figure out what lies beneath the seemingly ordinary exterior.

Overall, it's a rather unique experience that leaves a lasting impression.

Bueno bueno, hello there!!

To begin with, I was kind of absent these last few weeks hahahaha. University finishes next week and I have a million things to do....

I read this in one sitting and the truth is that I liked it. Sincerely, I expected less from this manga. I had the feeling that it was going to be boring, but I was a little intrigued to know why the teacher was so attentive. Obviously, since we're talking about CLAMP, I already knew everything that was going to happen hahahaha. They are very predictable. It was obvious that the teacher was a protector of hers and that he was in love. I didn't expect the friend to be the person who wanted to kidnap her either. Kudos to CLAMP hahahaha.

Things that I didn't like much were the pacing of the story (at this point, nothing surprises me about CLAMP, I've read everything hahahaha) and that the protagonist is super innocent, super cute, super dumb, but at the same time she is perfect and does everything well. As always, CLAMP does the same in all their stories. Sakura, Hikaru, the stupid one from Angelic Layer, Kamui... but sometimes being perfect suits some characters. With Sakura and Kamui, it doesn't bother me, with the rest it does. The problem is that when they do everything in a rush, there is no time to give them flaws and then growth, so I don't know why I expect that hahahaha. Just where I don't have problems are in the mangas that are coincidentally longer than most of their stories.... Coincidence?? I think not!

I'm already used to CLAMP's inappropriate relationships. I don't know why people make such a big deal out of it.... Accept that CLAMP writes relationships with minors. If you don't like it, bye bye. They are like that, literally in all their mangas. I think there isn't a single one that doesn't have a strange or dirty relationship hahahaha.

I have about 10 mangas left (just the longest ones, so I hope they are the best). I'm close to reading everything. What happiness <3 I still have to watch a thousand animes too hahahaha. I really really want to read Holic and Tsubasa!! Right now I'm with Legal drug!

Suki: A Like Story is a captivating three-book story penned by Clamp. Clamp holds a special place in my heart as one of my favorite modern manga creators. What truly intrigues me is that Clamp is an all-female collective.

Although they have had a rotating membership in the past, for the most part, Clamp now comprises a fairly stable roster of four talented women: Nanase Ohkawa, Mokona, Tsubaki Nekoi, and Satsuki Igarashi.

They began their journey in the 1980s as an eleven-member group of amateur, self-published indie writers, known as “dojinshi” in Japan. In the 1990s, they underwent a remarkable transformation and emerged as a highly successful, professional creative enterprise.

Ohkawa takes the lead in the group and is responsible for writing most of the material. The other members contribute their unique skills and perspectives, resulting in a body of work that is both diverse and engaging.

It was a very interesting forbidden love story. The plot was so captivating that I couldn't resist it. I was completely drawn into the emotions and conflicts of the characters. The way the story unfolded was truly engaging, and I found myself constantly on the edge of my seat.

I liked it so much that I decided to buy all of them on eBay. It was like an impulse purchase, but one that I didn't regret. Now, I have a collection of these forbidden love stories, and I can't wait to read them all again.

Forbidden love has always been a fascinating theme, and this particular story did not disappoint. It explored the complex emotions and moral dilemmas that come with such a relationship. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good romance with a twist.

I love this book!

This amazing book has truly captured my heart. The character of Hina is so vivid and real that she constantly reminds me of someone I know in my own life. It's such a wonderful feeling to be able to relate to a character on such a personal level. It makes me happy to see Hina's journey unfold and I find myself rooting for her all the way. I'm really hoping that she makes the right decision when faced with the challenges that come her way. The story has me on the edge of my seat, eagerly anticipating what will happen next. I just can't wait to get my hands on the second volume and continue reading about Hina's adventures. I'm sure it's going to be just as精彩 as the first one.

Wow,

I have never come across such a tone-deaf manga in my entire life. The concept of a young high school girl developing feelings for her thirty-year-old teacher is not only extremely creepy but also makes the storyline highly uncomfortable to read. The author seems oblivious to the fact that this kind of relationship is considered inappropriate and wrong, yet they continue to add more and more reasons to keep these two apart.

The main character, Hina, is perhaps the weakest aspect of the book. She is infantilized by the author, constantly singing made-up songs, acting like an elementary school student, talking to her stuffed animals, and lacking any form of social or common sense. Her friends imply that she is intelligent, but without seeing any maturity in her character, it's nearly impossible to view her as anything other than a child. And definitely not a child who should be dating her teacher!

Hina's friends, Emi and Touka, are also rather bad. CLAMP's problems with exposition and mysteries are fully on display with these two. The only time the reader learns anything about Hina's past or personality is when they are gossiping about it. Touka seems concerned about Hina's feelings towards her teacher, but for different reasons than what one might expect. Most of the time, I just wanted to shake her until she revealed the truth instead of moping in the corner as she did throughout the volume.

One final point I want to emphasize before this rant ends: the teacher himself. He is dull, has little to no emotional range, and to top it off, he is not who he appears to be! (Once again, many CLAMP tropes are present in this volume.) His storyline, in particular, made me extremely uncomfortable, with statements like Hina being "exactly how they said she'd be" and his associates referring to her as his "target." Are you kidding me? How can anyone interpret that in any other way than the obvious? I understand that CLAMP likes to incorporate darker elements into their lighthearted stories (as seen in Kobato), but this is just ridiculous.

In conclusion, don't waste your time reading Suki: A Like Story. It is bland, completely unaware of its darker implications, and has a main heroine who is likely to disappear mysteriously halfway through the next volume due to sheer stupidity.

I absolutely love Clamp, and although this story seems simple and beautiful. I know they will surprise me by the end.

Clamp's works always have a unique charm. Their art style is exquisite, and the stories they tell are full of depth and emotion. Even when a story initially appears to be straightforward, there are often hidden twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat.

This particular story has caught my attention with its simplicity. It has a certain elegance and grace that draws you in. But I'm not fooled. I know that Clamp has something up their sleeve. They are masters of creating unexpected endings that leave you with a sense of wonder and awe.

I can't wait to see how this story unfolds and what surprises Clamp has in store for me. I'm sure it will be a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Granted, as a 27-year-old reading this, it's evident that I'm not the targeted audience for this book or series.

However, I discovered the series in a box beneath my bed and realized I'd never actually read it. So, I thought that before giving it away, I should give it a try. After all, there couldn't be any harm in reading about a young girl and her first crush, right?

I believe that if I had read this volume when I was 12, perhaps I would have been able to see the romance and fantasy within it. But as a fully grown adult, it just felt creepy. Although her teacher doesn't do anything morally incorrect, one has to question why he believes it's acceptable to have pancakes with his young neighbor who lives alone and talks to teddy bears. The conversation at the end where she discusses sex and porn with another man is just... unsettling. I'm nervous about where this story is headed, as there have been multiple indications that her teacher is not what he appears to be.

Moreover, the format is rather repetitive, and while the authors keep insisting that the protagonist is booksmart, she is the most ridiculously and frustratingly naive character I've ever come across in my reading. I don't even know why I should bother reading the other two volumes, but since I own them... why not? I just hope that the creepiness stops.

I have found this manga quite nice.

The drawings didn't drive me crazy compared to other works of Clamp, but still, the sweetness of this girl dealing with new feelings shines through them.

It's not an especially engaging story, but it's very tender.

I also really liked the relationship that Hinata has with her best friends Toko and Emi, especially the first one who seems like a real guardian angel considering how much she worries about her.

However, the protagonist seemed to me really too much of a child, very sweet and responsible, but really too naïve and childish in certain ways, to the point of not even perceiving her as a high school student, but rather as an elementary school girl.

Overall, it's a charming manga that has its own unique appeal, despite not being a masterpiece in terms of story or art.

It's a light and enjoyable read that can bring a smile to your face and warm your heart.
