Review by K.M. :
"This book is truly good. The story is engaging and the characters are well-developed. It keeps you hooked from the very beginning. However, there is one major drawback - the cliffhanger at the end. It is just baaad. It leaves you with so many unanswered questions and a feeling of frustration. You are left hanging, eager to know what happens next, but without any resolution. It's like the author just stopped writing in the middle of a crucial moment. I really hope there is a sequel coming soon to tie up all the loose ends and give us the satisfaction we deserve."
Bleach, Vol. 13 picks up right where the previous tankōbon ended, presenting the next eight captivating chapters (108–115) of the ongoing manga series. After besting Yasutora "Chad" Sado and deeming him not a bad individual, Shunsui Kyōraku decides to have him imprisoned. Meanwhile, Ichigo Kurosaki engages in a fierce battle against Kenpachi Zaraki. Despite being intimidated by his opponent's overwhelming strength, Ichigo discovers the determination to face him head-on. However, Kenpachi, unlike other captains, reveals that he has not mastered his zanpakutō and effortlessly defeats Ichigo.
At that moment, Ichigo is whisked into his inner world by Zangetsu to confront another adversary: a hollow personification of Ichigo that emerged from his training under Kisuke Urahara. As Ichigo realizes his lack of knowledge about Zangetsu and vows to learn more, the fight is interrupted, and Ichigo returns to battle Kenpachi once more. This time, he manages to harness all the power from Zangetsu, enabling him to draw with Kenpachi in a thrilling encounter.
Kenpachi's lieutenant, Yachiru Kusajishi, escorts him to another location, where Kenpachi admits that he lost because he has never truly understood his zanpakutō. Meanwhile, Ganju Shiba and Hanatarō Yamada locate Rukia Kuchiki. Ganju becomes enraged when he recognizes Rukia as the Soul Reaper who killed his brother Kaien Shiba. This tankobon, written and illustrated by Tite Kubo, continues the exciting incursion into the Seireitei to rescue Rukia Kuchiki. With Chad defeated and imprisoned, Ichigo's impressive battle against Kenpachi, and Ganju's discovery about Rukia, the situation becomes even more complex, threatening the success of the rescue mission. Overall, Bleach, Vol. 13 is a remarkable continuation of a series that keeps readers on the edge of their seats, eagerly anticipating what comes next.
