This book is truly a unique read. It has its moments of being really funny and enjoyable, which makes it a great choice for those looking for some light-hearted entertainment. However, it also has its fair share of macabre elements that add an interesting twist to the story. Despite not being particularly fond of reading about demons, I found this book to be quite engaging.

The pacing of the story is fast, which keeps the reader hooked from start to finish. There are no dull moments, and the author does a great job of keeping the plot moving forward. The characters are well-developed and add to the overall charm of the book.

Overall, I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun and interesting read. It's not for the faint of heart, but if you can handle a bit of the macabre, you're sure to enjoy it.

Roger Zelazny was a writer of great range.

He excelled at both whimsical fantasy and the darker variety. One could see this in works such as Night In the Lonesome October, Doorways In the Sand, and \\"Unicorn Variations.\\"

However, I found his light-hearted collaboration with Robert Sheckley to be among his less memorable efforts.

In fact, I don't remember much about it at all. I'm not even sure if I finished it.

I admire Zelazny and tend to think that Sheckley may bear more responsibility for the mediocrity of this particular work.

Interestingly, they did collaborate on a sequel titled If At Faust You Don't Succeed.

To be honest, I don't think I even attempted to read it.

Still, it does have a great title.

Overall, while Zelazny's body of work is impressive, this collaboration with Sheckley didn't quite measure up to his usual standards.

Perhaps it was an experiment that didn't quite work out as expected.

Nonetheless, it's important to remember that even the greatest writers have their off moments.

And Zelazny's many other outstanding works more than make up for this one less-than-stellar effort.

This is an amazing book that is truly very funny.

It has been an absolute lifesaver for me during a particularly stressful period. Instead of constantly fretting and overthinking, it allowed me to simply relax and enjoy the hilarious comedy world it presented.

What makes this book even more charming is its cuteness. It's like a wonderful fairy tale, filled with elements that not only entertained but also made me reflect on humans and our thought processes.

It巧妙地incorporates a little bit of philosophy and psychology, along with a generous dose of fun and fantasy.

I just couldn't get enough of it and absolutely loved every page. It's a book that I would highly recommend to anyone in need of a good laugh and a bit of lighthearted entertainment.

"Bring Me The Head Of Prince Charming" presents a truly captivating concept that, to some extent, bears a resemblance to "Good Omens". It is the kind of book that has an irresistible allure, making it impossible for me to put it down. I had the sheer delight of sitting and devouring it for several consecutive hours. The story is filled with moments of humor, although some of it can be rather crude. This is precisely the reason why I have deducted a star from my rating. However, it must be noted that despite this minor drawback, the book is exceptionally well-written and displays a great deal of intelligence. The author has managed to craft a narrative that is engaging, thought-provoking, and thoroughly entertaining. Overall, "Bring Me The Head Of Prince Charming" is a book that I would highly recommend to others, provided they can overlook the occasional crudeness in the humor.

I vividly remember reading this book when I was approximately 15 years old.

It wasn't that long ago, and yet the experience remains etched in my mind. I truly relished every moment of it.

The book was truly one-of-a-kind. The story was so incredibly captivating and interesting, unlike anything I had read up until that point.

I found myself laughing out loud on numerous occasions. Even now, I still hold a deep affection for it and consider it to be one of my all-time favorites.

You could envision it as a unique blend of "The monster of Frankenstein" and Grimm's fairy tales, but presented in a much funnier and more lighthearted manner, with a healthy dose of dark humor thrown in for good measure.

It's a book that has the power to transport you to a world that is both strange and wonderful, filled with characters and situations that will make you smile, cringe, and everything in between.

This is an easy and relaxing read.

It offers a pleasant experience for the reader. However, it is a bit of a disappointment that the Czech translation could be significantly improved.

The quality of the translation might not do full justice to the original work. It could potentially limit the enjoyment and understanding of the text for Czech-speaking readers.

Perhaps more attention and effort should be put into enhancing the translation to ensure that it accurately conveys the essence and nuances of the original.

Nonetheless, despite the shortcoming in the translation, the content itself still has the potential to engage and entertain.

It would be great if future translations could address these issues and provide a more seamless and satisfying reading experience for a wider audience.

Overall, while the read is easy and relaxing, the need for a better Czech translation is evident.

This particular book is quite a lot more enjoyable than the novels that Zelazny penned together with Fred Saberhagen. It is the first installment in a trilogy, and I have every intention of getting my hands on the other two volumes.

Fans of "Jack of Shadows" and the "Corwin of Amber" books are likely to relish this characteristically witty adventure that takes one through the realms of fantasy and fairy tale. Since it's my first encounter with Sheckley's work, I'm unable to offer a comparison with his solo efforts.

Those who are fond of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett would do well to give this book a look. It has the potential to captivate readers with its unique blend of humor and fantastical elements.

I'm eager to see how the story unfolds in the subsequent books of the trilogy and discover more of Sheckley's imaginative world-building.

From the fourth cover, I expected to read an epic fantasy, despite the strange fairy-tale title: in the year One Thousand, on the occasion of the "Millennium Challenge" between Good and Evil, the demon Azzie decides to stage the fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty, with the aim of leading its protagonists to damnation and thus winning the competition.

In reality, the tone is completely different from what I expected; in fact, it is a humorous fantasy that presents characters from the most diverse folklores and legends: gods and monsters of Greek mythology, witches, characters from the Breton cycle and the Carolingian cycle (the Ariostean cover is not chosen by chance), of course characters from fairy tales, angels and demons, but also a particularly horny Santa Claus (according to him, unleashing his libido on the elves who work for him is not at all satisfying).

The story consists of a series of strokes of luck in which the characters, who oscillate between the insipid and the caricatured, have very little agency. The recourse to the deus ex machina abounds, perhaps too much: the laughter that the plot twists and expedients elicit takes precedence over the coherence of the plot.

Did I like it? Well, all in all it was a fun read.

Would I recommend it? I would say no: if you want a humorous fantasy, choose Pratchett instead.

Odlicna! This simple word holds a world of meaning. It can express joy, approval, or excitement.

When we say "Odlicna," we are often highlighting something that is outstanding or excellent. It could be a great achievement, a wonderful experience, or a remarkable person.

For example, if someone accomplishes a difficult task with great skill and success, we might exclaim "Odlicna!" to show our admiration.

Similarly, when we encounter a beautiful piece of art, a delicious meal, or a memorable event, we might use this word to convey our appreciation.

"Odlicna" can also be used to encourage and motivate others. By using this positive word, we can boost someone's confidence and make them feel good about themselves.

In conclusion, "Odlicna" is a powerful word that can bring a smile to someone's face and add a touch of positivity to any situation.

This is a very interesting concept, and for the most part, the characters are well written.

I was extremely excited about this book. However, to be honest, throughout the reading, I could really feel Azzie's frustration. Although it was immersive, it didn't result in a truly great experience.

The ending was rather disappointing. But I'm still hoping that the story will be picked up and developed further in the next book. Maybe the next installment will address the issues that I had with this one and provide a more satisfying conclusion. I'm looking forward to seeing how the author continues to build on this interesting concept and the characters.

Overall, despite the flaws, I still found this book to be somewhat engaging and I'm curious to see what comes next.

Once again, good and evil are fighting over who will rule the people in the 21st century. The second part that I have already read seemed to me somewhat more complete.

In this part, there were many plot twists that led nowhere and were not resolved later (for example, the dwarf's installment, the abduction of Azzie...). The actual plot line revolves around Cinderella, but the authors skillfully interweave it with the motifs of other fairy tales (the seven-league boots really only stop after seven leagues).

Finally, one of the reasons why evil loses is that no little devil helped Azzie and the hellish bureaucracy is equal to the human one (When asking for a glass mountain: "The problem is that it's not in the order."). Humorous, witty, refreshing.

"However, I would like to believe that we are like this because we want to. And that gives us a sense of good." (angel Babriel)

"I recognize evil for its perseverance and courage."

"The highest god is above all sexuality." (And that's why they say: "Thank him" and "thank her".)

At the end of the first millennium, Good and Evil are competing to see who will rule for 1000 years. A devil, Azzi, makes a prince and a princess from the most diverse parts of the people and creates the story of Sleeping Beauty. Everything goes according to plan and he is followed by the angel Gabriel. In the end, the princess refuses to kill the prince when he kisses her and so Good wins with their Magnificent Gothic Cathedral.

This battle between Good and Evil is a timeless theme that has been explored in many different stories and cultures. The idea of a struggle between two opposing forces is both fascinating and thought-provoking.

In this particular story, the devil Azzi tries to use the power of love and the story of Sleeping Beauty to his advantage. However, in the end, it is the power of Good that prevails. The princess's refusal to kill the prince shows that love and kindness can overcome even the most evil of intentions.

The Magnificent Gothic Cathedral also plays an important role in the story. It represents the power and beauty of Good and serves as a symbol of victory over Evil. Overall, this is a captivating and engaging story that explores the themes of Good and Evil, love and power in a unique and interesting way.
