Death Note is a series that I embarked upon after being recommended by someone whose opinion I highly value.

However, my initial expectations for this series have not quite matched my reaction while reading it. But don't misunderstand - that doesn't mean it's a bad thing. In fact, the series has far exceeded my hopes.

This series has taken me on a thrilling adventure filled with a diverse cast of characters, each bringing something unique to every volume. As I mentioned in an earlier review, I had a hunch that the manga might end soon, but there's always something lurking around the corner to keep me hooked and eager for more.

Light and L are still collaborating, and now they're attempting to unmask the new Kira who has emerged within a business with the main objective of eliminating competitors and rising to the top. Nevertheless, the idea of risking lives has become a topic of discussion among Light, L, and the other members of their group, as they debate whether sacrificing a few individuals is justifiable if it means putting an end to the reign of a compulsive killer.

There are countless twists and turns in this series. Just when you think you know what's going to happen, something completely unexpected pops up. It seems that the people in the book who gain control of the Death Note are becoming increasingly sinister. The power these individuals possess and what they do with it truly blows my mind.

Overall, this is a manga that I wholeheartedly recommend you check out and see where it takes you. I'm thoroughly enjoying it and will definitely see it through to the end.

Happy Reading!

Another great volume.

It truly is a remarkable piece of work that has left a lasting impression on me.

I am not ready for the next one, though.

The anticipation is both exciting and nerve-wracking.

I already know what happens in the story, having watched the anime years ago, but it still has the power to move me deeply.

The emotions it evokes are so intense that I find myself getting overcome by them even now.

Just thinking about it makes me start crying again.

I guess that's the sign of a truly great story, one that can stay with you and touch your heart long after you've experienced it for the first time.

I can't wait to see what the next volume has in store, but at the same time, I'm a little scared to face the inevitable.

Nevertheless, I'm sure it will be another amazing journey.

Thoughts:

I remember my beloved <3. I really like Namikawa, Shimura, and Mido! It's too bad I know where this is going. I love Wedy!! Misa is the cutest. I want to cosplay her again but do a better job at it. Just realized L looks like Jeff the Killer. Misa needs to get more self-respect. Babe, just leave him and run off with Rem. She'll protect you!! Matsuda and Misa, while being comedic relief characters, are actually brilliant investigators sometimes. Namikawa reminds me of Sirius Black. Go Aizawa!! I missed you. I feel like Misa is one of those girls who only acts dumb to appeal to men but is actually a genius. Like she's made some small stupid mistakes but she can also outsmart the entire police force. Can Light just go back to killing people please? The art is beautiful as always. Acab except Matsuda. Wedy gives off strong femme4butch lesbian vibes. I definitely prefer this over the anime (read like 2 of the manga first, then watched the anime, then continued the manga) but the theme songs are absolutely phenomenal and stay stuck in my head and I love playing them in between chapters.

These thoughts keep swirling in my mind as I engage with this wonderful story. Each character has their own unique charm and I can't help but be drawn to them. The relationships and dynamics are so complex and interesting. I can't wait to see what else unfolds in the story.

I wasn't really satisfied with the situation when the center in the first four books of "Death Note" changed in the fifth book and there were significant role changes. I can say that I also completely missed the pleasure of having less interaction with both Hen Ryuk and Rem.

However, this book at least brings to light some elements that we can hope for in the subsequent books. Therefore, it lit a spark of hope in me.

Maybe in the next books, the story will take a more interesting turn and we will see more exciting developments. I'm looking forward to what will happen next and hoping that the series can regain its former glory.

Although this book has some shortcomings, the glimmer of hope it gives makes me still have expectations for the future of "Death Note".

I'm not that into the Yotsuba-Arc.

However, these chapters are definitely the most exciting ones out of it.

The story takes some unexpected turns, and the characters' development is truly remarkable.

We get to see a different side of the characters, and their relationships are put to the test.

The action scenes are intense and well-written, keeping the reader on the edge of their seat.

The plot thickens, and there are many mysteries that need to be solved.

Overall, these chapters are a must-read for any fan of the series.

Even if you're not a big fan of the Yotsuba-Arc, these chapters will surely change your mind.

They offer a great blend of excitement, drama, and mystery, making it a truly engaging read.

So, if you haven't read these chapters yet, I highly recommend that you do so.

You won't be disappointed!

Absolute cinema is a unique and captivating form of artistic expression. It goes beyond the traditional boundaries of storytelling and focuses solely on the visual and auditory elements to create a truly immersive experience. In absolute cinema, there is no need for a linear narrative or a clear plot. Instead, the filmmaker uses a combination of images, colors, shapes, and sounds to evoke emotions and stimulate the viewer's imagination.

This form of cinema allows for a more abstract and experimental approach, enabling filmmakers to explore new and innovative ways of presenting their ideas. It can be both challenging and rewarding for the audience, as they are required to engage with the film on a deeper level and make their own interpretations.

Absolute cinema has the power to transport us to different worlds, to make us see things from a new perspective, and to touch our hearts and souls. It is a medium that has the potential to inspire and transform, and it continues to evolve and push the boundaries of what is possible in the world of film.

Not going to lie, my enjoyment has been hindering slightly these last couple of volumes. There has been a bit of a change in the story's pace and direction, which has caused a little dip in my enthusiasm. However, I'm still completely hooked. The overall concept and the characters are so engaging that I just can't put it down. I just sort of preferred the first few volumes. They had a certain charm and excitement that was perhaps a bit more intense.

Also, can I take a moment to express my resentment of Misa? She is such a complex and sometimes frustrating character. Her actions and decisions often go against what I would expect or hope for. Thank you.

\\n  4 stars\\n Despite the small drawbacks, this manga still manages to hold my attention and keep me coming back for more. I'm eager to see what the next volumes have in store and how the story will continue to unfold.

Title: Death Note: Book Six Give-and-Take; Author: Tsugumi Ohba;

Death Note is the name of a Japanese manga series by Tsugumi Ohba (author) and Takeshi Obata (illustrator), from which an animated television series has also been created. Death Note was first published in the weekly magazine Shonen Jump of Shueisha from December 2003 to May 2006. "Light Yagami" is a young man who is disgusted by crime and injustice. By chance, he finds a notebook on which it is written (Death Note). On the first page of the notebook, it is explained that if a person's name is written in the notebook and the writer visualizes the person's face at the same time, that person will die of a heart attack after forty seconds. "Light" decides to use the notebook. And...;

Yagami Light (Kira); Light; the main character of Death Note, is a very intelligent boy who is about seventeen years old. When the Death Note was dropped into the human world by Ryuk (one of the gods of death), Light was the first person to come across this notebook by chance and discover its secret and use it to kill criminals. At this time, people give him the nickname Kira (killer). At this time, Light (Kira) sets out to kill corrupt humans in order to purify the world and create his utopia and rule over the new world, and he calls himself justice. "Light", who knows that "L" is a formidable opponent, uses his father, who is the head of the Japanese police, to get close to "L" and help him find and arrest "Kira". But in the end, Light, with a pre-planned strategy, manages to kill "L", unaware that there is another character in the story who, after the death of "L", appears as "Near" in the continuation of the story and takes over the work of "L" and...;

In a second reading, the Death Note doesn't remind me of anything in the manga that had made such an impression on me over ten years ago. On the contrary, especially after the 3rd volume, it is extremely poorly written and overly nonsensical. It's a pity that it is considered one of the best when there are infinitely superior manga out there in terms of dialogue and overall writing.

The story that once seemed so captivating now appears rather flawed. The characters lack depth and development, and the plot becomes convoluted and unconvincing. The supposed brilliance of the main character's strategies now seems forced and contrived.

Perhaps my expectations have changed over the years, or maybe I have simply become more discerning in my appreciation of manga. Whatever the reason, it is clear that the Death Note no longer holds the same allure for me as it did in the past.

Dayum! If it wasn't for the fact that it was so dull, I wouldn't have felt like I was dragging myself through the entire story. It was truly a struggle to keep my interest piqued. The beginning and middle just seemed to plod along, with nothing really happening to capture my attention. However, to my surprise, the ending finally got a bit exciting. It was like a burst of energy that came out of nowhere and made me sit up and take notice. But overall, the experience of reading this story was a bit of a letdown. I was hoping for something more engaging and thrilling, but unfortunately, it just didn't deliver.

This cannot end this way!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is simply unacceptable that things should conclude in such a manner. There are still so many loose ends, so many unresolved issues.

We have come too far, fought too hard, and invested too much to let it all go to waste.

This is not the outcome we envisioned, not the result we deserve.

There must be a way to turn this around, to find a better solution, to bring about a more satisfactory conclusion.

We cannot give up, we must persevere, we must keep fighting until we achieve the outcome we seek.

This cannot be the end, it simply cannot.

I initially had the impression that the Yotsuba plot was a touch tedious. There were moments when it seemed to drag on, and I found myself losing a bit of interest.

However, as the story progressed and all the elements started to converge, the payoff was truly satisfying. It was like a complex puzzle finally coming together, revealing a beautiful and intricate picture.

And gah, I simply love Misa. She is such a captivating character, with her unique charm and personality. Her presence in the story adds an extra layer of depth and excitement. I can't help but be drawn to her every time she appears on the page or screen.

Overall, despite the initial setback with the Yotsuba plot, the conclusion and the wonderful character of Misa made the entire experience well worth it.
