Things truly get more and more chaotic, and unfortunately, the plot doesn't progress significantly. L continues to suspect that Light is Kira, yet he isn't completely certain. Meanwhile, a new character, the second Kira named Misa, enters the scene. She is a highly sexualized and famous young model who is also rather dumb. She manages to insinuate herself into becoming Light's "girlfriend," even though Light already has another girlfriend who is one of the smartest young women in school. However, this other girlfriend is not a central character and is relatively reserved compared to the "wacky" Misa Misa. As the story unfolds, the plot seems to get a bit out of control towards the end. I'm starting to feel a little annoyed with it all, but you know, I just might still be hooked regardless. There's something about this strange and convoluted tale that keeps drawing me in, despite its flaws.
