Love Izark and Noriko so much.

It's truly amazing how their love unfolds. Their relationship is filled with these little, yet significant, moments.

The way Izark always watches out for Noriko and does those small things for her makes it blatantly obvious that he cares deeply for her.

It's that kind of love that is both subtle and so incredibly obvious at the same time.

It makes you stop and think, "Wow, this is what true love looks like."

I can't help but be in awe of their connection.

And here I am, wondering when I'm going to have my own Izark.

Someone who will care for me in the same way, someone whose love is as beautiful and amazing as theirs.

It's a longing that I'm sure many of us have, to find that special someone who makes our hearts skip a beat.

Until then, I'll just continue to be inspired by the love story of Izark and Noriko.

Welcome to volume 5 of From Far Away! In this volume, there's an abundance of hair. I'm talking about a truly excessive amount, like on the level of Shepard Book's hair.

Also, some people really attempt something with Izark, but it doesn't turn out well for them at all.

We now have a name for our ghostly boy - it's Irkule! He's the spirit of the Morning Mist Tree and is completely at a loss as to how to assist the villagers who are trapped by the hair monster of nightmares. However, have no fear as he helps Noriko realize that simply being herself is a huge responsibility.

Minor digression - from here on out, it's an important theme that each character, by simply being their truest self, can and will help others. Besides Izark, none of the other characters in the main "good guy" cast possess offensive supernatural powers, yet they are able to achieve the results they do by believing in something greater than themselves. Namely, in Noriko and Izark, but also in the inherent goodness in people's hearts.

Back to the volume at hand, we also see Izark just... well, he demons out. He and Noriko end up in a difficult situation thanks to the hair demon nightmare thing, and he loses control out of fear for Noriko. So, Noriko sees the Sky Demon form of Izark (random aside: in volume 5 of Fruits Basket, this also happens to Tohru and Kyo). While Izark is busy alternating between freaking out and becoming so frantic that he can't think straight, Noriko realizes two things: 1) she can completely understand why Izark is scared of being the Sky Demon, and 2) him being the Sky Demon would mean he'd leave her, and THAT WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED.

We have what young me excitedly jumped up and down about - a confession! And it works!

It's important to note, however, that at this point, Izark is not really romantically in love with Noriko. He cares about her, worries after her, and doesn't want to leave her side, but he's so frightened by what being the Sky Demon could imply that he's not free to love her. When Noriko confesses to him while he's in almost full-on Sky Demon mode, he's reacting less to 'oh my god, she returns my feelings!' and more to 'oh my god, she isn't scared of me and still cares about me?'

We also get a side story about when Gaya first met Izark (he's like... 15?), which really shows why Gaya trusts him and why Izark trusts her. Also, the words that Gaya speaks about the Founder of the Gray Bird Tribe are very significant later on. Just saying.

3.5 stars.

This rating indicates a level of satisfaction that is above average but not quite excellent. It suggests that the product or service being evaluated has several positive aspects, yet there are still some areas that could be improved.

Perhaps the quality is good, but there are minor flaws or glitches. Or maybe the performance is satisfactory, but it doesn't quite meet the highest standards.

However, a 3.5-star rating is still a respectable one, as it shows that the item has some value and potential. It may be a good choice for those who are looking for a decent option that doesn't break the bank.

Overall, while it may not be perfect, a 3.5-star rating indicates that there is something worthwhile about the product or service.

Can you see it?

This is the world of light. Everything has become one in light. I entered the world of light and I found you.

Do you understand? We are the world of light. This is what we have been searching for. I feel a gentle energy that embraces everything. And this energy can be felt anywhere, anytime as long as you open yourself to it.

Kanata Kara by Kyoko Hikawa has been my most favorite Shoujo Manga since the early 90s till today, and I know it will stay as my most favorite for years to come.

Kanata Kara is the only shoujo manga that can come close to shounen manga. Hikawa can beautifully mix a love story with interesting adventure and great fighting scenes. She also puts some good moral in it.

The story takes readers on a journey filled with mystery, romance, and excitement. The characters are well-developed and their relationships add depth to the plot.

Overall, Kanata Kara is a must-read for any manga lover. It combines the best elements of shoujo and shounen manga to create a unique and engaging experience.
