This particular volume has a pacing that is a little slower compared to the other volumes. However, it remains highly enjoyable. The slower pace allows for a more in-depth exploration of the story and its characters.

Readers can take their time to soak in the details and truly understand the nuances of the plot. Despite the slower tempo, there are still plenty of engaging moments and interesting developments that keep the reader hooked.

The author has managed to create a world that is rich and immersive, even with the slightly more relaxed pacing. This volume offers a unique reading experience that is both satisfying and fulfilling.

Whether you are a long-time fan of the series or a new reader, this volume is definitely worth checking out. It may not have the breakneck speed of some of the other volumes, but its charm and appeal are undeniable.

So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the slower-paced but equally enjoyable journey that this volume has to offer.

This was sort of a stagnant volume.

Izark and Noriko were apart for the majority of it. He left her in the care of an old acquaintance. However, we gain an understanding of Noriko's link to The Awakening. Namely, it is possible that she is The Awakening. And Izark, he is supposed to kill The Awakening, which makes the developing romance more complicated.

The political conflicts are being fleshed out, and there is a great deal of action. This is a slow burn, not only for the romance but also in the sense that what is known about The Awakening is revealed gradually. This is great for digesting the story, but since the volume goes many pages without even a mention, it causes you to forget those aspects.

It is not exactly a bloated tale, but there is definitely a lot going on. I am eagerly anticipating the inevitable declarations.

The plot of this story is continuously developing, yet my interest in it is gradually waning.

At first, I was really intrigued by the unique premise and the initial events that unfolded. However, as the story progresses, it seems to be losing its charm for me.

I find myself less engaged with the characters and their actions. The twists and turns that were once exciting now feel somewhat predictable.

Despite this, I am still undecided whether I will finish the series or not. On one hand, I have come this far and I am curious to see how it all ends. On the other hand, my lack of interest is making it a bit of a chore to continue reading.

It's a tough decision, and I'll probably wait and see how the next few installments go before making up my mind.
