I absolutely adored this book. It truly is a matter of personal taste.

Some people might not have the same affinity for it as I do, but for me, it was an absolute delight to read.

The story had a unique charm that pulled me in from the very beginning and kept me engaged until the very end.

The characters were well-developed and relatable, and I found myself invested in their lives and their struggles.

The writing style was also very engaging, and I could easily lose myself in the world that the author had created.

Overall, I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a good read. It might not be for everyone, but if it happens to be to your taste, you are in for a treat.

Pretty good once you get the hang of their dialogue.

At first, their dialogue might seem a bit confusing or foreign. But as you spend more time listening and trying to understand, you'll start to pick up on the patterns and nuances.

It's like learning a new language. At the beginning, it's all a jumble of sounds and words that don't make much sense. But with practice and patience, you'll gradually be able to make out what they're saying and even start to respond in kind.

Once you do get the hang of their dialogue, it can be really rewarding. You'll be able to communicate with them more effectively, understand their thoughts and feelings better, and build stronger relationships.

So don't give up if it seems difficult at first. Keep listening, keep learning, and before you know it, you'll be fluent in their dialogue and having great conversations.

I was reading a book about pre-Socratic Greek thinkers. I got about two-thirds of the way through it and then left it on an airplane. Oh well, I'm just going to chalk it up as a loss.

The book was a survey of these early Greek thinkers, including fragments of their extant writings and commentary by successor philosophers. It was a really good introduction, especially if you're into that sort of thing.

Interestingly, during the nearly 20 hours I spent flying and waiting around in airports in recent weeks, I found myself writing more than reading. Unbelievably, I discovered that it's actually a very productive writing environment for me. I was able to get a lot of work done and make significant progress on my writing projects.

Even though I lost the book on the airplane, I'm still glad I had the opportunity to read as much as I did. It gave me some new ideas and perspectives that I can incorporate into my own work. And who knows, maybe I'll come across another copy of the book someday and be able to finish reading it.

This book served as our introductory text for The History of Ancient Philosophy at Loyola University Chicago.

Wheelwright made a careful selection of the fragments from the Pre-Socratics, and these fragments are rather complete.

In addition to that, he also composed the explanatory and connecting text, which placed the fragments within their proper context.

This approach helped us students to better understand the ideas and significance of the Pre-Socratic philosophers.

The book provided a solid foundation for our study of ancient philosophy, allowing us to explore the early beginnings of philosophical thought.

It was a valuable resource that enhanced our learning experience and deepened our appreciation for the rich history of philosophy.

Overall, this book played an important role in our academic journey at Loyola University Chicago.

Some very big ideas here.

These ideas have the potential to change the way we think, act, and live. They could revolutionize entire industries and reshape our society.

Big ideas often start small, as a spark of inspiration in the mind of an individual. But with the right combination of determination, hard work, and innovation, they can grow into something truly remarkable.

It's important to embrace big ideas and encourage their development. We should create an environment that fosters creativity and allows people to explore their wildest dreams.

By doing so, we can unlock the full potential of our society and make the world a better place for everyone.

So let's not be afraid of big ideas. Instead, let's celebrate them and work together to turn them into reality.

I want you back. Come back. I'll beg.

You're currently hiding under a bed out in Brooklyn.

Alongside my other dear Bookleins.

I truly need you by my side.

For my pale memory is behaving rather peculiarly.

It's like a hopping, old, moldy cripple.

A hop, a stop, a ho, and then no more!

This situation is driving me crazy.

I can't bear to be without you.

You mean so much to me.

Please, come back to me.

I'll do anything to have you here again.

Don't leave me in this state of longing and despair.

I'm waiting impatiently for your return.

This is an excellent book if you have an interest in this particular subject!

I truly feel that it has met my expectations and hopes precisely. That is to say, it offers a wonderful overview of pre-Socratic philosophy.

After reading it, I have gained a greater appreciation and understanding of the major debates and theories within this era of philosophy. There is something about learning about what these ancient thinkers came up with that just satisfies a curiosity in my brain. Sometimes their ideas were ridiculous, while at other times they demonstrated unbelievable wisdom and foresight.

Having read this book, I now feel that delving into the Platonic dialogues would be even more interesting. I will happily keep this book close by to be consulted and referenced in the future.

It has truly been a valuable addition to my library and a great resource for further exploration of the fascinating world of philosophy.
