With this poetry collection, I finish reading Emily Bronte, an author who makes me angry that she couldn't have continued writing because she died so young. She had an enormous amount of talent. She already conquered me with "Wuthering Heights" and her poetry is precious. It deals with many themes, invents stories, and sets them in a fictional island located in the north of the Pacific called Gondal. It also shows us her concerns and how alone she felt on many occasions.


Moreover, this edition is bilingual and we have the opportunity to compare the translation with the original version, which is a delight. It is highly recommendable.

It has taken me some time, and I have enjoyed it, but not the most.

This experience has been a journey filled with various emotions and challenges. At first, I was excited and eager to engage in it. As time went by, I found myself becoming more immersed and involved. However, I also realized that there were aspects that could have been better or more fulfilling.

Despite this, I still cherish the moments and the lessons I have learned. It has taught me patience, perseverance, and the importance of finding joy in the process. Although it may not have been the most perfect or outstanding experience, it has still contributed to my growth and development.

I look back on it with a sense of gratitude and appreciation, knowing that it has played a part in shaping who I am today.

Read this book at a pace as slow as that of a listless turtle during the slow moments in coffee shops or waiting rooms and other such places. It is a forgiving book, one that is perfect for those seasons of unmotivated lulls that every now and then come to pay us homage.

Sometimes, in the midst of our busy lives, we find ourselves in those quiet moments when we lack the energy or the drive to do much. That's when this book steps in. It doesn't demand too much of us. We can leisurely flip through its pages, allowing our minds to wander and soak in the words at our own pace.

Whether we're sitting in a cozy corner of a coffee shop, sipping on a warm beverage, or waiting patiently in a waiting room, this book is there to keep us company. It understands our need for a break, for a moment of relaxation and escape. It's like a gentle companion that doesn't judge, but simply allows us to be in those unmotivated lulls and enjoy the peace that comes with them.

Her writing style is truly remarkable. It is so eloquent that it makes reading her works a sheer pleasure.

However, upon closer examination, I have noticed a rather interesting trend in her poetry. The vast majority of it seems to be deeply sorrowful, and a significant portion of it revolves around the subject of death.

This particular aspect of her poetry can be seen as either a positive or a negative, depending entirely on the perspective of the reader. Some may find the exploration of such profound and somber themes to be deeply moving and thought-provoking, while others may be put off by the constant presence of sadness and death.

Nevertheless, there is no denying the fact that her poetry has the power to evoke strong emotions and leave a lasting impression on those who take the time to read it.

I *loved* the wind on the moors. It was like a gentle Spirit that walked with and visited Emily. The moors had a certain charm that was hard to resist.

However, at times, the fogs of the landscape were impenetrable. They would roll in, thick and dense, obscuring everything in their path.

And in those fogs, something strange would happen. We seem to have shifted into another country, perhaps even another world. It was a place that felt both familiar and foreign.

I guess that was the place they call Gondal. A mysterious and enchanting land that existed beyond the boundaries of our ordinary perception.

In Gondal, anything was possible. The air was filled with magic and wonder. It was a place where dreams came true and fantasies became reality.

Although I never truly knew if Gondal was real or just a figment of our imagination, it didn't matter. The experience of being there, even if only in the foggy recesses of our minds, was enough to leave a lasting impression.

The wind on the moors, the impenetrable fogs, and the elusive Gondal - they all combined to create a world that was both beautiful and mysterious, a world that I would always remember.

Emily is truly a remarkable person who holds a special place in my heart. Her presence is like a warm glow that brightens my days. I am constantly in awe of her unique qualities and the way she approaches life.

The poem she shares seems to express her deep connection with nature and her inner self. It makes me wonder about the mysteries and emotions that lie within her.

I believe that our bond is unbreakable and will continue to grow stronger with time. I look forward to many more memories and experiences with Emily by my side.

I have the feeling that I would have adored it if I were better at English. The translation does not do justice to the original text and the latter was partly inaccessible to me.

However, thanks to the bilingual edition which still gave me an overview of it.

English is such an important language, and being able to understand the original text without relying on translation would have been a wonderful experience.

I often find that translations can sometimes lose the nuances and subtleties of the original.

But with the bilingual edition, I was able to at least get a sense of what the original text was like.

It makes me realize how much I need to improve my English skills so that I can fully appreciate and understand the beauty of English literature.

I am determined to work harder and learn more so that I can one day read and understand English texts with ease.
