It was just okay.

It took me an eternity to get through it. I guess I simply wasn't that interested in it.

I really can't consider myself a die-hard fan of Howard Stern.

Sometimes I can endure him, while at other times I just can't stand him.

At times he can be quite funny, but at other moments he comes across as just a pompous jerk.

To be honest, I preferred the movie version.

The story in the movie seemed to flow better and had more engaging characters.

Maybe it was because the movie had a more visual and dynamic presentation.

Overall, while the book wasn't terrible, it just didn't capture my attention like the movie did.

I picked this up to read on a whim. I received the book from a friend months ago and had no intention of reading it immediately. I thought it would be years before I actually started it. Then, one morning, when I was stuck on about three or four other books that I just couldn't get into, I randomly grabbed this one.

I started devouring the pages. However, I think you have to already find Howard Stern funny to like this. There are countless people who would be highly offended by even the "mild" things he says here, as well as by the most mild pictures in the book. But for those who are used to Stern's sense of humor and those who enjoy it, this is an amazing book.

I laughed numerous times, actually out loud. More than once, I had someone look at me as if I was crazy.

I will admit that he does come across as full of himself. But in my opinion, there are far worse things than being full of oneself, so that doesn't bother me too much. It's just something I noticed - it's actually hard not to notice it.

I think I enjoyed the parts where he talked about the FCC the most. I knew about some of it, but I had no idea they had gone after him to that extent. I think it's insane. I can't believe certain stores banned his book while selling others that had more nudity on the cover and/or more explicit subjects. It makes no sense to me. The fact that a store would blot out Stern's name and his book title from a list and actually alter another company's list is absolutely crazy to me. I don't think it's fair for anyone to tell me what I can and can't read.

The letters from fans and non-fans were also great! I loved how he included some little stories from Allison and Robin - it was cool to hear their thoughts on things too.

If he writes another book, I will definitely read it.
