Robert Vaughan is a master at writing Westerns, and this particular one is no exception.

It begins with the thrilling escape from prison of an innocent man, setting the stage for an adventure-filled story.

The next group we meet consists of two women and a girl who are returning home on a train. They then board a stagecoach, adding another layer of complexity to the plot.

Enter the Sheriff, who has been paid an extra sum to safeguard a whopping $100,000 that is being shipped on the stage by a banking clerk.

The stage driver is a seasoned veteran, while the shotgun rider is an ex-convict.

However, their journey is far from peaceful as the stagecoach is pursued by the very gang that framed the innocent man.

The story is filled with heart-pounding action and excellent character development, making it a must-read for any Western enthusiast.
