I really liked this one just as much as all the others in this series.

However, I was a bit disappointed with the very ending when it came to finding out who the Night Walker actually was.

It seemed rather anti-climatic.

I had a strong desire to know how they discovered the identity of the Night Walker, but that particular part wasn't even touched upon.

Although in my mind, I thought it might have been from the pharmacist's research.

Maybe there could have been more details provided about the process of uncovering the truth.

It would have made the ending more satisfying and engaging.

Overall, the story was great, but the ending left a bit to be desired in terms of revealing the mystery behind the Night Walker.

I hope that in future installments, the author will pay more attention to these crucial details and provide a more fulfilling conclusion.

Easy to pick up and put down without losing interest.

This quality is highly desirable in many aspects of our lives. Whether it's a hobby, a book, or a task, being able to engage with it easily and then set it aside without losing the motivation to come back to it later is a great advantage.

For example, a hobby that is easy to pick up and put down allows us to fit it into our busy schedules. We can spend a few minutes or a few hours on it whenever we have the time and still enjoy the experience.

Similarly, a book that is easy to read and understand can be picked up and put down without losing the thread of the story. This makes it a great choice for those who don't have a lot of time to read but still want to enjoy a good book.

In conclusion, the ability to pick up and put down something without losing interest is a valuable trait that can enhance our lives in many ways.

I thought the hospital case was truly interesting. There was an abundance of depth and complexity to it that exceeded my initial expectations.

However, I was rather disappointed with the other case involving the girls. It began in such an intriguing manner, captivating my attention right from the start. But unfortunately, the conclusion was lackluster and seemed as if it had been abruptly cut short. It left me with a sense of dissatisfaction and a longing for a more fulfilling resolution.

On a positive note, I really liked having Yuki in the team. She brought a new energy and perspective, and I'm excited to see the start of her new career. Here's to hoping for many more successful cases and a bright future for her.

Overall, while there were some highs and lows in these cases, they have all contributed to my learning and growth as a professional. I look forward to facing new challenges and continuing to improve in my work.

The audiobook had a few moments that were a little bit confusing. However, despite those moments, I still really enjoyed listening to it. The story was engaging and held my attention throughout. The narrator did a great job of bringing the characters to life and adding emotion to the dialogue.

I found myself looking forward to each new chapter and eager to find out what would happen next. The plot had some twists and turns that I didn't expect, which made it even more interesting.

Overall, I would highly recommend this audiobook to others. And I'm definitely excited for the next one in the series. I can't wait to see what adventures the characters will go on and how the story will unfold.

Lindsay becomes embroiled in two parallel cases.

The first case revolves around murdered young females who are staged in luxury cars and dressed in designer outfits in San Francisco. The second case is a horrific one of an "angel of death" killing people in a municipal hospital in San Francisco, and among the victims is Yuki Castellano's mom. The killer leaves buttons with medical symbols on the deceased's eyelids.

The hospital is already on trial for wrongful deaths, especially a shady doctor who refuses to answer questions about his involvement and instead pleads the fifth.

The case of hospital killings is very real and disturbing, and it makes one feel that this could easily happen. We also get to know detective Warren Jacobi's new partner, young inspector Richard Conclin.

There is an interesting twist as Lindsay questions her role as the Lieutenant, feeling more like a paper pusher instead of actively investigating cases and being present at the scenes.

However, there are some不足之处 in the story. We never find out the motive for the killings of the luxury car girls. It seems that this part of the story was a bit rushed. Also, we never learn how Lindsay discovers the identity of the hospital killer. It is neatly wrapped up at the end without any explanation of how she figures it out.

Overall, it was a good read, but I felt a bit cheated as there were still unanswered questions about the murders.

The book under review is an e-book in the mystery genre. Despite not having a specific page count, it manages to captivate readers. There is no love triangle, insta love, or obsession, but it does have a cliffhanger that leaves you on the edge of your seat. The triggers are not applicable. Rated 4 stars, it scores well in various aspects. This is a classic thriller that can be read anywhere and at any time.

It doesn't require a particular concentration, which makes it a great choice for those moments when you just want to relax and get lost in a good story.

I know that it is part of a series, and if I'm not mistaken, I think I will read the others as well.

Just out of curiosity and as "easy" readings.

Overall, I would rate this book 4 stars.

It has all the elements of a great thriller - mystery, suspense, and a cast of interesting characters.

The plot is engaging and keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

Whether you're a fan of thrillers or just looking for a good book to pass the time, this one is definitely worth checking out.

The fifth book in the "Women's Murder Club" series.

It follows the same recipe as the other four and probably those that will come next.

The story is engaging, easy to read, with surprising twists and turns, and a rather basic writing style.

It's a great police procedural for lunchtime reading.

You can quickly get lost in the plot and enjoy the mystery unfold.

The characters are familiar and likable, and the author does a good job of keeping the reader on the edge of their seat.

Overall, it's a solid addition to the series and one that fans will surely enjoy.

The book presents a fast-paced narrative with a plot that is both gripping and fun, yet ultimately disappointing. There are several twists and turns that manage to keep the reader engaged, but unfortunately, most of them can be anticipated.

The story involves two different cases. One case centers around mysterious deaths in a hospital, while the other involves the gruesome murders of beautiful call girls. The book might have been more successful if it had focused on just one of these cases, as this would have likely resulted in a higher quality mystery. Additionally, the motive behind the case is noticeably absent, leaving the reader searching for answers even after finishing the book.

The Women's Murder Club series is indeed an exciting one. If you have read the books in the order they were published, you will be able to connect with the women and empathize with them, just as I do. They are intelligent and ambitious individuals with a common passion. However, Yuki, who is relatively new to the series, did not evoke the same level of emotion in me as the other characters, perhaps due to the sudden death of her charming and lovable mother.

Sadly, "The 5th Horseman" fails to bring anything new to the table. If you are a die-hard James Patterson fan, you will likely enjoy reading this book. However, if you are seeking one of his best works, this is not the one to choose.

James Patterson is truly one of my all-time favorite authors.

I eagerly anticipate the release of his next book in paperback. This particular one is the fifth installment in the Woman's Murder Club series.

Just like the previous four, it is an absolute page-turner that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

Currently, I am excitedly waiting to head out shopping to grab the sixth book in the series.

The murder mystery aspect of these books is simply great.

Most of the characters are professional women, which adds an interesting dynamic. There's a cop, a lawyer, a newspaper writer, and a medical examiner.

The fact that the same characters贯穿 the series makes it feel like you are catching up with old friends every time you pick up the next book.

If you haven't had the pleasure of reading Patterson's works yet, you are most definitely missing out on some truly captivating stories.

Don't wait any longer; give his books a try and get hooked!

This installment is truly the best in the series up to this point.

It effortlessly outshines its predecessors in numerous aspects. The story is engaging from start to finish, filled with unexpected twists and turns that keep the reader on the edge of their seat.

The characters are well-developed and relatable, making it easy to become emotionally invested in their fates. The writing is superb, with vivid descriptions that bring the setting and events to life.

Every detail has been carefully crafted to create a truly immersive experience. In conclusion, this is a must-read for fans of the series and anyone looking for a great book.

It sets a new standard for excellence and leaves readers eagerly anticipating the next installment.

This book may be a 2.5/5... but let’s just stick with two stars.

Keep in mind this review is FULL of spoilers.

I'm not sure if my dislike for this book is because I’ve read five of them in the last month and a half... or if it’s because it was truly that bad and annoying. I’m sticking with the latter.
