James Patterson has truly crafted a perfect sequel to an already amazing book. In this installment, he masterfully captures the essence of teenager humor and references, making it a delight to read. I find myself eagerly looking forward to more in the next book.
The story continues to unfold with several unexpected plot twists that keep me on the edge of my seat. Each chapter builds upon the previous one, increasing the excitement and anticipation. Max's narration in her own unique, ironic teenage language adds a dynamic and hilarious element to the plot. It's her way of coping with the stress of her situation, and I can definitely relate to that.
I also appreciate how the character of Ari is still evolving, and we are given his perspective on the events. This adds depth and complexity to the story. The plot remains mysterious, constantly making me wonder what will happen next. However, the book ends on a cliffhanger, leaving me with a sense of anticipation and a burning desire to know what awaits in the next book.
