4.5 Oh, this was so much fun!It has been ages since I last read a page-turning suspense novel. Forty years ago, I devoured them all. Now, I just get them for my husband. We began this as an audio book in the car. It sounded like a play, complete with real gunshots, sirens, music, and other sound effects. If I had been driving, it would have completely unnerved me!I have never read Patterson before, but I was so thrilled with Gross's "The One Man" that I wanted to give this a try. For me, it had a fast-paced Saturday matinee kind of feeling. With over 100 chapters, all of them cliffhangers full of fun!For its genre, I totally enjoyed this mobster romp and stomp around the world. It was an exciting and engaging read that kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good suspense novel.
