A satisfying follow-up to Miss Pamela's groundbreaking "I'm With the Band" has arrived. This new work delves into her tumultuous marriage to rocker Michael Des Barres. It also explores her active social life during the late '80s. Perhaps it is a little less scandalous than her debut, but it is still filled with remarkable insights. The subtitle, "A Groupie Grows Up," is truly fitting. It shows how Miss Pamela has evolved and matured over the years. We get to see a different side of her, one that is more complex and nuanced. The book takes us on a journey through her personal and professional life, revealing the highs and lows she has experienced. It is a captivating read that will appeal to fans of rock music and those interested in the lives of celebrities.

The first time I ever heard about Al-Anon was a truly eye-opening experience for me.

I was in a situation where I had been affected by someone else's alcoholism, and I was feeling lost and helpless.

A friend of mine, who had been through a similar situation, mentioned Al-Anon to me.

She told me that it was a support group for people whose lives had been affected by someone else's drinking.

I was skeptical at first, but I decided to give it a try.

When I walked into my first Al-Anon meeting, I was greeted with warmth and acceptance.

I listened to the stories of others who had been through similar experiences, and I realized that I wasn't alone.

The group provided me with a safe space to share my feelings and to learn from others.

Over time, I began to see a change in myself.

I became more empowered and less affected by the alcoholism of the person in my life.

Al-Anon had given me the tools and support I needed to take control of my own life.

Looking back, I'm so grateful that I heard about Al-Anon when I did.

It truly changed my life for the better.

I really liked "I'm with the Band" a great deal, and as a result, I simply had to read this one as well. Ms. Des Barres is most definitely an interesting gal.

Even now, I find myself wondering if I'm still in love with her. Maybe just a little bit.

The story of "Wild Child" growing up, starting a family, and so on is truly captivating. It makes for a good read that keeps you engaged from beginning to end.

The way the author has presented the events and the character's development is quite remarkable. You can't help but be drawn into her world and experience all the emotions along with her.

Overall, I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good memoir or a story about a woman's journey through life. It's a must-read for fans of Ms. Des Barres and those who are interested in the music industry and the lives of the people who are part of it.

I'm glad I took the time to read this book, and I'm sure you will be too.

"It's more like swooping in love and it's happening to me."

I have truly and completely swooped in love with "I'm with the band". The moment I started reading this book, I was captivated by its charm. The hater-stories and the way her story is so misunderstood really tugged at my heartstrings. I found myself completely immersed in Miss Pamela's world, living through her experiences. Now that I've finished this book, I'm left with a sense of terrible sadness. I don't want this journey to end. I'm eagerly anticipating the next installment of Miss Pamela's life. I can't wait to see what adventures await her and how her story will unfold. This book has truly left a lasting impression on me and I know that I'll be thinking about it for a long time to come.

I have an intense love for this book. The reason being, I'm truly fascinated by the fact that even as the Groupie matures and grows up, she doesn't lose her essence. She remains a Groupie at heart, still passionately in love with music, faithfully writing in her journals, and eventually evolving into a rock journalist. Amidst all the chaos of sex and non-stop partying, Pamela emerges as a true music aficionado. In this book, life seems to unfold and progress through the 80s. There is an abundance of fun to be had, and the book is filled with hilarious moments that keep you entertained. However, it also delves into more serious aspects such as marriage and Pamela's son, showing her journey into real adulting. In many respects, this book presents a truly fantastic story of an after party that is nothing short of amazing. It's a captivating read that I love just as much as her famous book, I'm With the Band.

It's a literary gem that offers a unique perspective on a life filled with music, adventure, and growth.

The author has done an excellent job of creating a vivid and engaging narrative that draws you in from the very beginning and keeps you hooked until the end.

Whether you're a fan of music, memoirs, or just a good story, this book is definitely worth checking out.

I should've known this lovely lady was a Virgo.

It's a charming story of a muse who discovers her own unique music. She embarks on a journey, getting lost in the cacophony of noises around her.

But then, through her determination and inner strength, she manages to find herself again.

The journey is not without its challenges, as she faces the distractions and chaos that try to pull her away from her true calling.

Yet, she perseveres, listening to the whispers of her heart and following the rhythm that only she can hear.

In the end, she emerges victorious, having found not only her music but also a deeper understanding of herself.

This lovely tale serves as an inspiration to us all, reminding us that even in the midst of confusion and noise, we can find our own path and create beautiful melodies.

Ms. Clark's latest work truly stands out.

She employs her winning recipe that features an emotionally complex yet endearing heroine. The story is filled with nasty deaths that add a thrilling and macabre element.

Moreover, there is a looney character living next door, which brings an additional layer of eccentricity and unpredictability to the narrative.

As is my usual habit, I found myself completely engrossed in the book and read it in one evening.

The engaging plot, well-developed characters, and Clark's masterful writing style made it impossible for me to put down.

I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Her first book was truly a remarkable one. It was the very first “mature” book that I had ever laid my eyes on and read. From the moment I started turning its pages, it ignited a fierce passion for reading within me.

Over the years, her gift for writing has continued to mature and evolve. And this latest book of hers is a testament to that growth. It is even more charming than her previous works. The way she weaves words together, creates vivid characters, and constructs engaging storylines is simply captivating.

Reading this book is like embarking on a wonderful journey. You get lost in its pages, completely immersed in the world she has created. It makes you feel a whole range of emotions, from joy to sadness, from excitement to anticipation.

Her writing has the power to transport you to another place and time, and make you forget about the world around you. It is a gift that not many possess, and I feel truly fortunate to have discovered her books. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Much like her first vapid book, Pam shows a complete disregard for facts and dates in this new one, effectively destroying any credibility she might have once possessed. In chapter 3 alone, she makes several glaring errors. Firstly, she claims that Robert Plant's son died before the release of Detective's album in April 1977. However, Karac Plant actually passed away in July 1977, three months after the album's release. Secondly, she states that Tony Geary was on General Hospital in 1977 when she had an acting role on the show, yet he didn't join the cast until 1978. Thirdly, she says she went to Vegas to see Elvis in 1977, right after the book by his bodyguards came out. But Elvis never played Vegas in 1977; his last show there was in 1976. These are just a few examples from throughout the book. The numerous false statements make this book and her other works completely untrustworthy and unbelievable.
