Miss P is an outstanding storyteller.

Her life is filled with crazy antics, sincere mistakes, and an abundance of love.

This book is particularly touching because she undergoes significant growth after getting married, becoming a mother, and losing her beloved Daddy.

She has to confront many harsh realities, but through it all, she gains a great deal of self-respect and insight that can only be acquired by living life to the fullest.

Compared to the intoxicating nature of "I'm With The Band," this book is truly sobering.

It makes the reader reflect on the challenges and joys of life, and how we all have to grow and learn from our experiences.

Miss P's story is one that will stay with you long after you've finished reading the book.

It's a testament to the power of storytelling and the importance of sharing our lives with others.

Overall, this is a must-read for anyone who loves a good story that is both entertaining and thought-provoking.

I don't want to think about how many years ago it actually was when I read Pamela's first book. I was a BABY. I'd like to think we've both grown up a lot since then.

I didn't love this. I didn't love her writing style. She's blunt and forward - and I like that. She's honest and bold. She tries, even at her worst, to be at her best and look on the good sides of things.

She's raised a son; divorced a husband; had a boyfriend half her age. She rocks life. Period.

With that said, I'm bothered immensely by one point. She's told her readers HUNDREDS of stories. She's named names in three books. She didn't hesitate. But in THIS book she chooses to refer to one paramour as "HIM". It made me crazy. Someone so major and intense that even MS. PAMELA wouldn't come clean?

She said she has another book in her. I'm doubtful I'll pick it up. Maybe it's because of this one unresolved mystery. Or perhaps it's because her writing, while bold and honest, didn't quite resonate with me on this occasion. I'm not sure. But I do know that until she clears up this mystery or changes something about her writing style, I'll be hesitant to invest my time in another one of her books.

Pamela's writing style, along with the frequent flashes to her old diary entries, rendered this book rather cumbersome to wade through.

To be honest, I simply wasn't overly interested in her book.

She has a tendency to name-drop quite a bit, which can come across as rather pretentious.

Moreover, her rather corny reliance on psychics took the story to a place that was just too far out for my taste.

It felt as if she was trying too hard to add an element of mystery and the supernatural, but it ended up detracting from the overall quality of the book.

I found myself skimming through many parts, hoping to find something more engaging, but unfortunately, it never really materialized.

Perhaps others might find her writing style and the themes she explores more to their liking, but for me, this book was a bit of a disappointment.

One of my favorite books of all time is a literary gem that holds a special place in my heart.

Thanks to this remarkable book, I had the privilege of discovering the genius of Kerouac.

Kerouac's writing style is truly unique, filled with raw energy and a sense of adventure.

The book takes me on a wild ride through the lives and experiences of its characters, painting a vivid picture of a bygone era.

It is a captivating read that keeps me engaged from start to finish, and I find myself constantly returning to its pages to relive the excitement.

This book has not only introduced me to Kerouac's work but has also inspired me to explore the world of literature further.

It has opened my eyes to new perspectives and ways of thinking, and I am forever grateful for the impact it has had on my life.

Overall, it is a book that I would highly recommend to anyone with a love for great literature and a thirst for adventure.

A groupie may reach adulthood, but that doesn't signify that all of her tales have been recounted! Des Barres' sequel to her thrilling memoir I'm With the Band is still brimming with delightful memories and an unwavering honesty that numerous individuals lack the courage to have. Although this one delves into weightier matters than her previous work (such as Addiction, Adultery, Divorce..), Pamela simply exudes positivity and always manages to find a way to transform a negative into a life lesson, thereby aiding her in growing into the remarkable woman she is today. Those who adored I'm with the Band should most definitely give this one a look, and for those who haven't, what on earth are you waiting for?

Miss Pamela's work is not on par with 'I'm With the Band'. The 80's sense of ennui appears to have taken hold of her to some extent.

However, it is still definitely worth a read. She possesses one of the most unique and charming voices in the field.

Her writing style, though perhaps influenced by the era's malaise, has its own allure.

The stories she tells offer a glimpse into a world that was both充满活力 and a bit jaded.

Despite the comparisons to other works, Miss Pamela carves out her own niche with her distinct voice and perspective.

Readers will find themselves drawn in by her words, even as they sense the underlying weariness of the 80's.

Overall, her work is a testament to the power of a unique voice and the ability to capture a particular moment in time.

I found this book to be a little darker than the first one. However, it was still a great read.

I really enjoyed how the author carried the reader through her journey and growth into womanhood. It was interesting to follow her experiences and see how she evolved.

One of the parts that I loved the most was when she talked about her pregnancy and first baby. Her words were so sincere and sweet, it really made me feel like I was right there with her.

The story was a classic rise and fall love story, but it had some dark twists and painful memories that added depth to the plot.

I couldn't help but feel like the author used this book as a way to voice her break up after thoughts to her ex. It seemed like it was her outlet to get her whole story out there and say, "Look at me now, I'm over it." But, is she really? That's the question that lingered in my mind as I finished the book.

Overall, I thought it was a well-written and engaging read that I would recommend to others.

Pamela Des Barres is, as always, an absolute delight to read.

Her positive outlook on life is not only addictive but also truly inspiring. It's endearing how she has the ability to laugh at her own jokes, making her seem like the perfect girlfriend with a treasure trove of the best stories. I also have a soft spot for her love of going to swap meets.

This book offers a detailed account of her post-groupie days. It shows her journey as a woman striving to find her place in the world, dealing with her relationship with her husband and son. Eventually, she discovers her confidence and finds her voice, which she channels into a highly successful writing career that catapults her into the national spotlight. After the release of her seminal memoir 'I'm With The Band', she unfortunately experiences intense slut shaming. Suzanne Somers' condescending attitude towards her on live TV is truly despicable (btw, Suzanne Somers can seriously go fuck herself for the way she spoke to Pamela). And the turncoat Jimmy Page referring to her as a bimbo is equally hurtful. However, Pamela is a feminist to the core. Despite some unfortunate fat shaming issues, which I attribute to several factors like living in Los Angeles, the era of the 80s, and her generation of women being fed a lot of bullcrap, I forgive her because no one is perfect. She always saw her role as a groupie as a means of getting what she wanted, being a passionate lover of music, and later on, a chronicler of the dynamic times she witnessed.

What struck me the most was her relationship with her son Nick. She describes it with heartfelt warmth and humanity. Her kid is not only gifted but also very troubled as a young person. He experiences extreme bullying from his peers for simply being himself. At one point, he is confronted by a group of kids asking if he's a boy or a girl, and his blithe answer of "Both" leads to him being chased down the street by about 200 kids. That kid is truly amazing and embodies the spirit of rock-n-roll!

I wholeheartedly love Pamela Des Barres and everything she has chosen to share with us.

This one is my favorite out of all of Pamela Des Barres' books.

It is basically about her life in the 80s.

The 80s was a decade filled with unique cultural and social trends.

During this time, Pamela's life was even more interesting than her hard core groupie days.

She likely experienced a wide range of events, met various people, and had many memorable moments.

The book probably delves into the details of her daily life, her relationships, and her experiences in the music and entertainment industry.

Readers can expect to gain insights into a different side of Pamela Des Barres, one that is perhaps more mature and complex.

Overall, this book offers a fascinating look at a particular period in Pamela's life and is sure to be enjoyed by fans of her work and those interested in the history and culture of the 80s.
