Great information is presented in this book. However, the writing is not always of high quality.

What matters most, though, is the information itself. There are certain parts where the author fails to explain some terms clearly, which seems to be an oversight in the editing process.

It's important to note that this is a Christian-based book. The doctor, who is a Christian, has written several health books with a biblical foundation. The last part of this book covers spiritual fasts or fasting. Those who are not religious may be deterred by this. (If you're reading this and that's the case for you, simply skip this part. The first 80% offers good information.) Personally, I purchased the book because it addressed both aspects of fasting. But it's evident that Colbert belongs to the conservative/evangelical wing of the faith.

My final criticism is the excessive pushing of supplements and the up-selling of certain products. This can be quite off-putting for some readers.

I didn't read the first 2 chapters,

but I read the rest.

There is a LOT of information in it.

It is very good.

I really enjoyed the last couple of chapters on spiritual fasting.

The author provided in-depth insights and practical guidance on this topic.
