The Reverend Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, better known by the pen name Lewis Carroll, was an English author, mathematician, logician, Anglican clergyman and photographer.

Oxford scholar, Church of England Deacon, University Lecturer in Mathematics and Logic, academic author of learned theses, gifted pioneer of portrait photography, colourful writer of imaginative genius and yet a shy and pedantic man, Lewis Carroll stands pre-eminent in the pantheon of inventive literary geniuses.

He also has works published under his real name.

It's important to note that all of these artworks are created by Tenniel.

Due to the unique style and complexity of Tenniel's art,

it will be somewhat challenging to color these pages.

One needs to be very careful and precise when attempting to add colors to these artworks.

The details in Tenniel's artworks require a delicate touch and a good understanding of color theory.

However, despite the difficulty, coloring these pages can also be a very rewarding experience.

"I will NOT buy another coloring book."


Five minutes later, I found myself standing in front of a shelf filled with an array of colorful and enticing coloring books. The vibrant illustrations seemed to call out to me, whispering their siren songs. My resolve, which had been so strong just moments ago, began to waver.


I couldn't help but pick up one of the books and flip through its pages. The detailed designs and the promise of a creative escape were simply too tempting. Before I knew it, I was imagining all the hours I could spend lost in the world of colors and patterns.


In the end, despite my initial proclamation, I walked out of the store with yet another coloring book in my hands. I guess some resolutions are just meant to be broken when faced with the allure of something so enjoyable.

I haven't colored in the book yet.

However, I have always had a deep love for the drawings from the original books.

The illustrations are so vivid and detailed that they bring the story to life in a unique way.

Also, I have patiently waited for quite a while to have the book available in the U.S.

During this waiting period, I have re-read the actual book multiple times.

This has allowed me to gain a better understanding and feel of the characters.

By re-reading, I have been able to pick up on the subtleties of their personalities and motives.

I am really looking forward to finally getting my hands on the coloring book and adding my own personal touch to the beautiful illustrations.

I believe it will be a wonderful experience to bring the characters to life in my own way through coloring.

This is the perfect introduction to Lewis Carroll’s Classic.

It is an abridged version that manages to retain a significant portion of the original words.

As a result, it might seem a bit awkward at times because of the rather unusual sentence structure.

Nevertheless, I firmly believe that students in grades 3 and above can independently read this.

Moreover, I really enjoyed the large versions of the original outrageous illustrations.

These illustrations add a wonderful visual dimension to the story, enhancing the overall reading experience.

They bring to life the strange and wonderful world that Carroll has created, making it even more engaging for young readers.

Despite the challenges posed by the original sentence structure, the abridged version still manages to capture the essence of the classic tale.

It allows students to explore the imaginative world of Lewis Carroll and gain an appreciation for his unique writing style.
