It is because whenever I complete one of his books and then figure out how to put into practice what is described within it, a personal verification of the truthfulness of his observations occurs. I have even received external validation from others during numerous experiences that align with what he outlines in his work.

When I finished this novel, or rather this inner adventure in this total silence, it was the end of everything and the beginning towards the unknown!

Even though this is one of several books of anthropologist Carlos Castenada's interactions with Mexican shaman Don Juan (a Yaqui Indian), and I haven't read the originals / first books, I really enjoyed the wisdom within Don Juan's teachings.
