Not the best Castaneda Don Juan.

This statement implies that there is room for improvement or that the current manifestation of Castaneda Don Juan is not up to par.

Perhaps there are certain aspects or qualities that could be enhanced to make it the best.

It also leaves the door open for another attempt or iteration.

The phrase "one more to go" suggests that there is an additional opportunity to get it right.

It could mean that more effort will be put into perfecting the Castaneda Don Juan, whether it's in terms of its performance, appearance, or other characteristics.

Overall, this short text conveys a sense of dissatisfaction with the current state of Castaneda Don Juan while also hinting at the possibility of a better version in the future.

It creates a sense of anticipation and curiosity as to what the next attempt will bring.

Will it be the best Castaneda Don Juan yet? Only time will tell.

Until then, we can look forward to seeing the progress and evolution of this entity.

Silence has been a significant theme for me throughout this year.

The various chapters within this book held certain elements that were rather disturbing. It's quite unfortunate that I was unable to complete reading the entire book before the renewals expired.

However, I have a feeling that I might eventually go back to it.

Maybe there are still some hidden gems and profound insights waiting for me to discover within its pages.

I keep thinking about those disturbing parts and wonder if there is more to them than what meets the eye.

Although I didn't finish it in time, I believe that this book still has something valuable to offer, and I look forward to the opportunity to revisit it and explore it further.

Here we are again, dealing with the eighth money maker for Castaneda, or perhaps more accurately, for Simon & Schuster.

The blurb makes the promise that "the true meaning of sorcery and magic is finally revealed." However, in this installment, there is really nothing very new. It all simplifies to the concept of moving the "assemblage point" of perception. This particular one has been the most difficult to get through to the end.

The only interesting little detail is the hint that don Juan's age is 85 when he is telling about the time he lived with a woman who had two children. The part that made me laugh a bit is don Juan coming to the defense of psychic surgeons, explaining that they did their work by making assemblage points move and so on, in contrast to Castaneda's opinion that psychic surgery is a sleight-of-hand scam that no one even attempts anymore because it has been so thoroughly discredited. Since Carlos' explanation did not "explain the fact that my friend had really gotten well," it must have been a genuine event according to don Juan. That Castaneda, in relation to Don Juan, took it seriously is quite revealing. I guess he had never heard of the placebo effect.

Another thing that made me chuckle was how "Big animals like that (jaguar) have the capacity to read minds." But, obviously, not enough to realize that Don Juan's loud clapping or their kicking up of dust was a trick. The stories are beginning to feel repetitive, lacking any new insights. It's been a tough struggle all the way through.

In fact, even if I only give this book 5 stars according to what I understand, it shows that I think it deserves even more. Although I am good at psychological analysis, I think I am lacking in philosophy. I think this book should be read in a series. However, I don't know if I can read it.

This book seems to have a lot of depth and complexity that I may not have fully grasped. Maybe with further reading and study, I can better understand its true value. The psychological aspects presented in the book are quite interesting and thought-provoking, but the philosophical elements also add another layer of meaning.

Reading a series of books can provide a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of a particular subject or theme. It allows the reader to follow the development and evolution of ideas over time. However, it also requires a certain amount of commitment and perseverance. I'm not sure if I have the patience and determination to read this entire series.

Can anyone explain to me how the title of this book ties into the contents?

This is a question that often comes to mind when we start reading a book. The title is like a teaser, it gives us a hint of what to expect inside. But sometimes, the connection between the title and the contents may not be immediately obvious.

For example, a book titled "The Secret Life of Bees" might make us think that it's about the hidden world of bees. However, as we read on, we might discover that the story is actually about a young girl's journey of self-discovery and healing, with the bees serving as a metaphor for her inner life.

In other cases, the title might be more straightforward and directly related to the main theme or subject matter of the book. For instance, a book called "The History of the Internet" would likely focus on the evolution and development of the internet over time.

So, the next time you pick up a book, take a moment to think about how the title might be related to the contents. It could enhance your reading experience and help you gain a deeper understanding of the story or information presented.

Of the four books I have now read, this was the most impactful.

It truly left a deep impression on me. The story was so engaging and the characters were so vividly portrayed that I felt as if I was right there with them, experiencing every emotion and event.

The author's writing style was also very captivating, making it easy for me to get lost in the pages.

I found myself thinking about the book long after I had finished reading it, and it has even changed the way I look at certain things in life.

This book has definitely become one of my all-time favorites, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great read.

I can't wait to see what other amazing books this author has in store for us.

This is a very profound book about the teachings that Don Juan transmits.

It tells a bit about the history of how he became a sorcerer and about his nahuales, the teachings he obtained from them, and it speaks of impeccability in order to be able to transcend to a new plane and become a sorcerer.

The anchor point is a key point of the book. During several narrations, it is talked about what moving it can do to a person.

The details and descriptions in this book offer a unique perspective on the world of sorcery and the path one must take to reach a higher level of spiritual awareness.

Readers will be captivated by the stories and teachings, and may even find themselves inspired to embark on their own journey of self-discovery and growth.

Overall, this book is a must-read for anyone interested in the mysteries of the spiritual world and the power of the human spirit.

I’m not reading the 12 books in a sequential order. Instead, I initiated my reading journey with the first book and then I’ve been hopping around. I delved into “The Eagle’s Gift” and now I’m onto this particular one. I have a strong anticipation that this book will be extremely difficult to surpass.

I establish a profound connection with the voice of the book. It explores the pursuit of silent knowledge, which is achieved through the movement of the assemblage point and the various stages of intent. The utilization of stalking in this context is truly captivating. This book has truly nourished my mind, providing me with a wealth of thought-provoking ideas and concepts that have expanded my intellectual horizons.

It has been a remarkable reading experience so far, and I look forward to uncovering more gems within the pages of these books as I continue my eclectic reading adventure.

This style is very different from the previous ones, which makes me wonder about a change in translator!

It has a very elevated vocabulary and highly academic explanations. In short, it is practically the opposite of "Histoires de Pouvoir" that started this series.

Yet the change is rather pleasant. It gives the impression that Carlos has finally reached the last pages of his apprenticeship and that Don Juan (his mentor) has stopped using simple images and childish games to distract him.

But will it be enough? Who knows...

Perhaps this new style is an attempt to bring a more mature and in-depth perspective to the story. It could be that the author wants to challenge the readers and take them on a more intellectual journey.

However, it also risks alienating some readers who were fond of the previous, more accessible style. Only time will tell if this change is a successful one or not.

This is a truly great spiritual book. It is extremely deep and profound, taking readers on an extraordinary journey of self-discovery and enlightenment.

As I delved into its pages, I was amazed to find that it has made me aware of so many aspects of the cosmos, energy, and intuition.

The author's insights and wisdom are truly remarkable, and they have opened my eyes to a whole new world of possibilities.

Through this book, I have learned to look beyond the physical world and explore the hidden realms of the spirit.

I have come to understand that there is a vast and infinite universe of energy and consciousness that surrounds us, and that we can tap into this power through our intuition and inner wisdom.

This book has been a life-changing experience for me, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.

I've delved into numerous books written by Castaneda and have gleaned a great deal of knowledge from them.

Nonetheless, when it comes to this particular book, I cannot claim to have grasped a vast amount.

Yet, I am aware that as I perused its pages, I felt an extraordinary sense of personal growth within myself.

It's as if the words on those pages were catalysts, sparking a transformation within me.

Despite the areas that may have eluded my full understanding, the overall impact on my being was so profound that I simply had to rate it 5 stars.

It's a testament to the power of literature and the ability of certain works to touch our souls and inspire us to become better versions of ourselves. :)

I am definitely not a fan of this kind of dogmatic/religious books.

Perhaps there is a profound and rich culture within the Nahuatl way of perceiving the world that eludes my understanding.

However, the direct attack on reasoning and the scientific method, as if they were the worst things in the world, simply doesn't hold much meaning or value for me.

I managed to read 2 out of the 6 chapters of the book before ultimately deciding that it was simply not something I desired to invest my precious time in.

The content seemed to lack the intellectual rigor and rationality that I typically seek in my reading materials.

While I respect different cultures and perspectives, I believe that a healthy dose of critical thinking and the application of the scientific method are essential for a comprehensive understanding of the world around us.

This book, unfortunately, failed to meet those expectations and left me with a sense of disappointment.
