Much as I have a deep love for the film (and also the original book), this所谓的"screenplay" is truly quite disappointing.

I am well aware that Kubrick was attempting to do something distinct from a typical standard form screenplay by eliminating the description and presenting the extensive stills. However, the entire concept seems really misdirected. When someone is reading a screenplay, they are doing so with the intention of learning the fundamental details and inner workings of the film. If they desire the images, they can simply watch the film itself.

I would be extremely eager to read the real screenplay, but this particular one is just kind of a strange and unnecessary release. It fails to provide the in-depth understanding and valuable insights that a proper screenplay should offer.

I bailed on this book about midway through.

I just could not take it any more. The story seemed to drag on and on, lacking any real excitement or momentum.

The characters were not very engaging, and I found it difficult to connect with them on any level.

The writing style was also rather平淡, making it a chore to get through each page.

I had high hopes for this book when I first started it, but unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations.

I would not recommend this book to others, as it simply did not hold my interest.

Maybe I will give the author another chance in the future, but for now, I am moving on to something else.

Stanley Kubrick's script is a particularly easy read for a film script.

He was truly efficient, not only in his choice of words but also in his decision to format the script in an unusual way that is aesthetically pleasing.

You might have to read it to fully understand what I mean.

I've always struggled to determine if Alex is intended to be a sympathetic character. However, in this screenplay, he seems more relatable than in the final film.

This script is a must-read for any fan of Kubrick or anyone with a general interest in film-making.

It offers valuable insights into Kubrick's creative process and the art of screenwriting.

Whether you're a filmmaker looking for inspiration or a movie lover eager to explore the behind-the-scenes of a classic film, this script is sure to captivate and engage you.

Hang on, I'm confused. Whilst I'm well aware that the gorgeous young Mr McDowell was amazing in the film, what did he have to do with the writing of said book? Is this a different book? It seems rather strange to me. Maybe there's some connection that I'm not seeing. Could it be that he provided some inspiration for the author? Or perhaps he was involved in the adaptation process from the book to the film. But still, it's not clear to me. I need to do some more research to figure this out. I'm really curious now.

This statement seems quite accurate.

For those who are already passionate about the film, it can be an absolute delight. They are likely to have a deep understanding and appreciation of the various elements that make the film great.

However, for newcomers, it might indeed lack some of the essential aspects of the novel or the movie experience. Newcomers may not have the same level of familiarity with the story, the characters, or the overall atmosphere.

They might miss out on the nuances and details that are so crucial for a full and immersive experience.

It could be that the film assumes a certain level of prior knowledge or engagement, which might pose a challenge for those who are just starting to explore this particular work.

Nevertheless, it doesn't mean that newcomers can't still enjoy the film. With an open mind and a willingness to learn, they can gradually discover the魅力 and significance of the story.

Perhaps they will be inspired to go back and read the novel or watch the movie again to gain a more comprehensive understanding.

In conclusion, while the film may be fantastic for film lovers, it does have its limitations for newcomers. But with the right approach, everyone can find something to appreciate and enjoy in this creative work.

How can I like a character that does this ultraviolence? It seems almost impossible at first glance. However, upon closer examination, it becomes evident that this is a result of excellent writing.

The author has masterfully crafted a character with such complex and vivid traits that despite the abhorrent acts of ultraviolence, there is an underlying allure.

Perhaps it is the character's unwavering determination, or maybe it is the depth of their emotions that shine through even in the midst of chaos.

Whatever the reason, the writing has managed to make us question our own moral compass and engage with a character that we would otherwise despise.

It is a testament to the power of words and the ability of a skilled author to create a world that captivates and challenges us.

So, while we may struggle to understand how we can like a character who commits such heinous acts, we must also承认 the brilliance of the writing that has made it possible.

This book holds a very special place in my heart as it is in a solid tie with Sylvia Plath's The Bell Jar for my favorite book.

Both of these literary works have had a profound impact on me. They explore themes such as mental health, identity, and the search for meaning in life in a way that is both deeply moving and thought-provoking.

The writing in this book is exquisite, with beautiful prose that draws the reader in and makes them feel as if they are a part of the story. The characters are complex and well-developed, and their struggles and triumphs are relatable and inspiring.

Overall, this book is a masterpiece that I will continue to cherish and recommend to others. It is a must-read for anyone who loves great literature and wants to explore the human condition.

A truly disturbing book lies before us, one that delves deep into the warped and twisted mind of an English hoodlum. The content within its pages is not for the faint of heart. It explores the dark recesses of a criminal's psyche, painting a vivid and often uncomfortable picture. I must admit, I can't in good conscience say that I would recommend this book to just anyone. It was, however, a required reading during my college days. This forced me to confront the less savory aspects of human nature and grapple with the complex themes presented. While it may have served a purpose in my academic journey, it's not a book that I would casually pick up or suggest to others without careful consideration. The experience of reading it was both enlightening and deeply unsettling.

This work was initially considered harmful and disturbing.

However, in reality, it is truly a masterpiece.

Upon closer examination, one can discover the hidden depth and beauty within it.

The artist's unique perspective and creative expression bring to life a world that may seem unfamiliar at first but gradually reveals its profound meaning.

The elements used in the work, such as color, form, and texture, work together in harmony to create a powerful impact.

It challenges our preconceived notions and forces us to think beyond the surface.

Rather than being simply harmful or disturbing, this work has the ability to inspire, educate, and transform.

It is a testament to the power of art to push boundaries and expand our understanding of the world around us.

We should not be quick to judge a work based on initial impressions but rather take the time to explore and appreciate its true value.

A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess is a remarkable work that has been adapted for The BBC. This is the third time I have encountered this captivating narrative, along with Alex and his drugs.

The vocabulary in this novel is truly sensational and is largely responsible for its tremendous success and impact. It's one of my absolute favorites.

Nadsat, the fictional argot used by the teenagers in the novel, is a creation of Burgess, a linguist. It gives the characters a unique voice and adds to the authenticity of the story.

Alex and his "droogs" engage in petty crime until they escalate and get into trouble. The protagonist's desire to assert his alpha male status leads to conflicts with his comrades.

They frequent the Korova milk bar, which serves milk laced with drugs. Their actions result in Alex being reprimanded by the Post-Corrective Advisor.

The novel explores important moral and religious issues, such as the question of whether God prefers freedom of choice or forced goodness.

When they attack a woman, Alex is caught by the police. The flawed process of rehabilitation becomes a major theme, with parallels to real-life policy flaws.

The overcrowded prison system leads to the use of a controversial method based on Pavlovian and behaviorist techniques to make Alex loathe violence.

The government's actions in torturing the prisoner raise questions about the means used to eliminate impulses.

The film adaptation by Stanley Kubrick features a powerful image of Malcolm McDowell with his eyes forcibly opened.

The side effects of the conditioning, such as Alex feeling sick when Beethoven is played, make one wonder if the re-education is worth it.

The transformation of the droogs into police officers and their subsequent beating of Alex further complicates the story.

The question of whether the police are there to protect or to torture and repress opposition is raised.

References to real-world situations, such as China's policies and Putin's Russia, add a contemporary relevance to the discussion.

You can find the vocabulary used in the novel at the provided link.

In the beginning, this story aroused in me a sense of disgust and intense anger at these aggressive acts committed by this gang. Therefore, I didn't feel any pity for Youssef despite all the injustice he endured, which of course I reject. Maybe I would have sympathized with him if his crimes were, for example, theft or drugs or what could be called a "clean crime" if that term is valid. But if the crimes are in the form of assaulting helpless old people and humiliating them in that way, this is what makes me angrier, especially that terrible incident where they assaulted the wife of the writer in front of her husband and she died afterwards from the shock.

In my personal opinion, the fight against crime should be through the enforcement of the law with all its rigor against the offender, no matter what sacrifices the government makes in that regard. And the application of the law should be for everyone so that people are deterred. Then, it should be through education and giving it priority in the government's agenda. Then, it should be through raising public awareness. Then, it should be by creating job opportunities for people and providing them with a decent life. Thus, the solution would be comprehensive.

Street children are victims before they become criminals and products of society. A society that doesn't have proper education, a sound law, job opportunities, or a decent life.
