A sweet old lady has passed away. Her departure has left a void in the hearts of those who knew her. Meanwhile, a fragile girl, overcome with grief and perhaps a sense of fear, hides away. She is in a state of turmoil, not knowing what to do or where to turn.
However, in the midst of this sadness, there is a glimmer of hope. People notice the girl's absence and begin to search for her. Their efforts are rewarded when they finally find her, safe and sound. The girl is relieved and grateful for their kindness and concern.
Although the sweet old lady is no longer with them, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. And the fragile girl, having been saved, will now have the strength to face the future and carry on.
I found myself skimming through this book. At the beginning, the novelty of the cat personalities was quite charming. However, as I delved deeper, it seemed that the charm had worn off. There were an overwhelming number of characters who were "in on it" from previous books. It was extremely difficult to catch up with all of them. You only get a limited amount of time to look at each character, and as a result, there is no rich development of any of them. It's a bit disappointing because I was hoping for more in-depth exploration and growth of the characters. Instead, it feels like a rushed and somewhat disjointed experience.
