2021 has gotten off to a blistering start.

It is truly remarkable and should indeed be incorporated into someone's curriculum at some institution.

This could potentially have a significant impact on the field of education.

For those studying APUSH (Advanced Placement United States History), they should be cautious.

The events and developments in 2021 might bring new perspectives and challenges to their studies.

It is essential to stay updated and adapt to the changing landscape.

As the year progresses, more and more interesting and relevant information is likely to emerge.

Educators and students alike should be ready to embrace these changes and make the most of the opportunities presented by this hot start to 2021.

It is a book that, at times, truly shines and presents some great ideas.

However, in general, it has a tendency to be a bit circular in its reasoning, and the thinking seems rather scattered.

Chomsky indeed has the remarkable ability to clearly lay out cases of injustice. But unfortunately, he often repeats the same examples, even when they are not directly relevant to the chapter in which they are found. This aspect makes the book, at times, a tiring read.

That being said, his examples are quite sound. He is extremely well-researched and has an amazing knack for making one see the incredible injustice that exists within the global system. His argument for collective amnesia is very strong, and his theory of the US as a rogue state is quite convincing (although perhaps it could be better described as an imperial power using the 'rogue state' terminology as a justification for its hegemony).

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in international law, US imperialism, or a critique of 'humanitarian' military intervention. It offers valuable insights and perspectives that are sure to stimulate thought and discussion.

Interesting polemic though a little shrill at times, this discussion has managed to capture the attention of many.

It delves into various aspects of the topic, presenting different viewpoints and arguments.

The intensity of the debate sometimes makes the tone a bit shrill, but it also adds to the excitement and engagement.

People from different backgrounds and with diverse perspectives have joined in, sharing their thoughts and experiences.

This has led to a rich and dynamic exchange of ideas, which is both enlightening and thought-provoking.

Despite the occasional shrillness, the overall polemic is interesting and值得关注.

It has the potential to bring about positive change and a deeper understanding of the subject matter.

As the discussion continues, it will be fascinating to see how the different viewpoints evolve and interact.

Perhaps a consensus will emerge, or maybe the polemic will continue to rage on, but either way, it is sure to keep us engaged and informed.

Ok, here's a quick review to get it off my to-do list.

I had certain expectations when I picked up this book. However, I didn't think it was on par with some of the other excellent works I've read. It had a rather piecemeal feel to it. In the notes section, there's an intro to each chapter indicating where it first appeared. Clearly, Chomsky has taken several separate articles or talks and combined them since they follow a similar thread. Although he has edited them and the theme does carry through the whole book, it still seemed more like a collection of independent pieces rather than a smoothly flowing narrative. But this alone isn't enough to justify deducting a star.

The second issue that bothered me was the use of some very complex and convoluted sentences. This was often because he incorporated quotes into his sentences, sometimes splicing together snippets of multiple quotes to make a point. It made it quite challenging to understand at times.

My final criticism is that there were quite a few instances where he closed a section with a statement that was a corollary of a point, but I lacked the background knowledge to fully comprehend it. This could perhaps be seen as more of my fault for not being familiar with the things he didn't feel the need to expand on.

Nevertheless, when it comes to content, this book is extremely well researched, as is typical of his works. There's a wealth of source material to support his arguments. It's truly fascinating and has significantly broadened my understanding of American foreign policy and international affairs in general.

If you're interested in these topics, it's definitely worth reading. Just be prepared for a heavy and complex read at times.

A book that every follower of the global political situation must read in-depth.

The idea of countries that stand out from the context that the United States wants, the country that has power and money, interprets international law and determines the legal and illegal. The book is full of many examples that explain the American political behavior in the world and the goals of successive American administrations in dealing with any event and their goals from this dealing.

International law and democracy in the eyes of American politics are relative matters subject to more than one interpretation and more than one criterion. Wars and human rights violations may also be justified, even necessary, and are very popular within the corridors of the White House, Congress, and the Pentagon.

Another great book by Chomsky, the great human thinker.

Do you believe him now?

This statement seems rather cryptic and leaves one wondering what exactly is meant by it. Is there a specific context or story behind it that would clarify its significance?

Welcome to the world of North America=Korea. This is an interesting and perhaps somewhat unexpected equation. North America and Korea are two very different regions with their own unique cultures, languages, and histories. However, in this strange world, they seem to be equated or merged in some way.

Perhaps this is a fictional or imaginative concept, where the boundaries between different places and cultures are blurred. It could lead to some fascinating and unexpected interactions and experiences. Or maybe it is a thought-provoking statement that challenges our traditional understandings of geography and identity.

In any case, it invites us to explore and question the nature of our world and the relationships between different places and people.

This book is truly a treasure trove of information.

A book that introduces you to the history of America, how it was controlled by the countries of the Third World, how it became a great power, and how the countries that do not comply with American orders are the targeted countries, and in fact, it is very clear who controls America because it is moving according to a single plan.

This book provides a comprehensive overview of the development and evolution of the United States. It delves into the various factors that contributed to its rise as a global superpower, including its economic, political, and military might.

By examining the relationship between America and the Third World, readers can gain a deeper understanding of the complex dynamics at play in the international arena.

Additionally, the book explores the concept of American influence and the ways in which it shapes the actions and policies of other countries.

Overall, this is a great book for anyone interested in learning more about the history and power dynamics of the United States.

I have a deep affection for Chomsky. However, to be completely honest, at times I truly struggle to distinguish between his various books.

Whether the subject matter pertains to rogue states, failed states, or hegemony, more often than not, he seems to be expounding on very similar themes. These include corporatism, hypocrisy, the abuse of power, the use of Orwellian language, and the general bullying and lack of responsibility on the part of those in power.

That being said, Chomsky is truly brilliant when it comes to explaining complex ideas clearly and concisely. This is something that historians and the news media often refuse to do.

Just like all of his other political writings, this particular book serves as a scathing indictment of the world's power structure. It reveals the ways in which those who possess power manipulate it to their own advantage, at the expense of democracy and peace. It also exposes the fact that powerful individuals and states are able to get away with actions that the less powerful simply cannot.

Overall, while Chomsky's books may sometimes seem repetitive, his insights and analysis are invaluable in understanding the complex and often unjust world in which we live.

A great writer, Noam Chomsky, reads to him on a very important occasion... The translation is very bad... It does not convey the information adequately and often does not come close to it. Therefore, it is best to read it in its original language... The book reveals the role of the dominant great powers in determining the roles of the peoples and determining who is the terrorist in their view in order to apply their laws to him... Putting them under stress and supervision as happened in Iraq, for example, from the cruel siege even to the expansion of various types of drugs and what happened in Sudan when the Shifa pharmaceutical company was bombed... As well as its manifestation in supporting terrorism when it serves the interest and supporting the dictatorial regime with weapons against the working classes and against all revolutions that it could do even if it caused the death of millions in total as happened in many countries such as Indonesia, Cambodia, Iraq, Vietnam and others... Something that makes one laugh and yes, we know which is the marked country that has shed a lot of strange blood. The strange thing is where are these peoples now and the sad thing is that the marked country demands that the countries that have been spoiled, broken, completely changed their features and enslaved to apologize to it later. So it is not possible to fight and wash the hand that came white... A white devil.

It is important to note that this text contains some rather extreme and one-sided views. While Noam Chomsky is a renowned critic of certain aspects of US foreign policy and global power dynamics, it is also necessary to consider different perspectives and the complexity of international relations. Additionally, some of the examples and characterizations in the text may be subject to debate and interpretation. A more comprehensive and objective analysis would involve looking at multiple sources and viewpoints to gain a more accurate understanding of the issues at hand.

A damning indictment of the hypocrisy in US and European foreign policy.

This work, despite being two decades old, remains completely relevant to today's context. It is actually a series of essays on related topics rather than a single, unified book. As a result, if one reads them all consecutively, there is a tendency for repetition to occur. However, the points made within these essays are so astute and incisive that I simply didn't mind the repetition.

The writing style employed is bitterly sarcastic, which makes it not only highly engaging but also very enjoyable to read. It forces the reader to confront the uncomfortable truths about the double standards and duplicity that often characterize the foreign policies of the US and Europe. Through this scathing critique, the author sheds light on the complex web of interests and power dynamics that shape international relations, and challenges the reader to think more deeply about the true nature of these policies.
