I absolutely loved this book!

Although I didn't truly learn anything new from it, I found myself laughing throughout the entire reading process. It had this wonderful charm that made me feel as if I wasn't alone in this crazy journey of life.

I would definitely recommend this book to all my pregnant friends. They should really give it a try.

In fact, I was so engrossed in it that I devoured the entire book in just a few hours. It was that captivating and enjoyable.

I can't wait to share this gem with others and see if they have the same experience as I did.

This book is not only a source of entertainment but also a great way to find comfort and connection.

I highly encourage everyone to pick it up and give it a read.

In this book, "Belly Laughs: The Naked Truth About Pregnancy and Childbirth" by Jenny McCarthy, she delves into an extremely detailed account of every aspect of pregnancy.

She doesn't hold back when it comes to discussing the various discomforts such as gas, constipation, nausea, fatigue, and so much more.

Jenny REALLY goes into great detail, including many graphic details that some might find a bit shocking.

However, I absolutely adored this book. It was the very first pregnancy book that I chose to read. It was incredibly easy to follow and understand.

I managed to finish it in just 2 days. Jenny's sense of humor and her honesty about her own pregnancy experiences truly shone through.

I will most definitely be recommending this book to others.

I highly recommend this book for those individuals who渴望 the whole unadulterated truth about pregnancy, with nothing hidden or sugar-coated.

Because let's face it, pregnancy isn't all about beautiful butterflies and colorful rainbows.

I absolutely adored this book and devoured it during my own pregnancy with my precious son.

Ms. McCarthy has been incredibly open and honest, laying everything out on the table for all to see and read. I discovered that this book was not only extremely informative but also light-hearted and humorous. It was precisely what I required during my second and third trimesters.

If you are currently pregnant yourself (or know someone who is) and are in need of a great read, do yourself (or your friend) a favor and obtain a copy. It will surely lift your spirits and warm your heart to an immeasurable extent. My little boy is now two years old, and I still cherish the fond memories of this wonderful book.

It truly is a gem that I would highly recommend to any expectant mother or anyone interested in the journey of pregnancy.

I read this book during my BART journey from Richmond to the Embarcadero without any transfers.

It is a rather silly book by Jenny McCarthy. Essentially, she makes light of all the nastiest things that occurred to her body during pregnancy. Surprisingly, it was funnier than I had anticipated. Moreover, it was refreshingly honest and real.

Nevertheless, I was not a big fan of the descriptions and endorsements of unnecessary medical interventions. For example, the elective amniocentesis when there were no signs of risk to her or the fetus. Also, I cannot support Jenny's freeloader stance on childhood vaccinations. However, despite these drawbacks, this book was still a fun and quick read. It managed to entertain me during my commute and provided some light-hearted moments. I would recommend it to those who are looking for an easy and humorous read about pregnancy experiences.

Apparently, I'm like the Goldilocks of pregnancy books as I'm still on the hunt for the one that's precisely right. After being overwhelmed by the excessive information I received from "What to Expect When You're Expecting," I decided to give something a bit lighter a try. And you can't get much lighter than Jenny McCarthy discussing her swollen vagina lips.

However, lighter isn't always better. It's indeed funnier, and I audibly laughed several times. But it's not really all that helpful or substantial. The author shares her pregnancy experiences and offers her personal perspectives, yet none of it is supported by medical facts. When citing her sources, she often mentions that she "looked things up" or "asked." Hmm, no. That won't cut it for me. I'd classify it more as a pregnancy memoir rather than a self-help book. If you have the right sense of humor, Jenny McCarthy will empathize with you. Just don't anticipate much more than that.

Overall, while it may provide some entertainment, it lacks the depth and reliability that I'm seeking in a pregnancy book. I'll continue my search, hoping to find that perfect blend of useful information and engaging content.

Um.... not funny at all. I only laughed out loud once throughout the entire book. What a big disappointment!

Moreover, the fact that each chapter was approximately two pages long really seemed like an insult to my intelligence.

Was this book specifically written for women with short attention spans or something? It makes me wonder if the author didn't put in enough effort to develop the story and characters properly.

The brevity of the chapters left me feeling unsatisfied and longing for more depth and substance.

I had high hopes for this book, but unfortunately, it failed to meet my expectations.

Maybe I was just in the wrong mood, but I don't think I would recommend this book to others based on my experience.

It's a shame because there were some interesting concepts and ideas, but they were not explored thoroughly enough.

Overall, I'm left with a sense of dissatisfaction and a feeling that I wasted my time reading this book.

The article is rather strange. It's described as being funny, but it lacks any real information. The person writing it seems to be quite crude and gets right down to the nitty gritty in the details. This might not be to everyone's taste. If you're the kind of person who can't handle such crude and detailed content, then it would probably be best to skip this article altogether. It's important to know your own preferences and limitations when it comes to reading material. Some people might find the crudeness and detailed nature of the article entertaining, while others might be put off by it. It really depends on the individual. So, before diving into this article, it's worth considering whether you can handle the way it's written.

I read this book when my best friend was pregnant with her first baby.

She highly recommended it to me as a great "potty read" since the chapters are short and the writing is very basic.

Jenny McCarthy delivers a hilarious yet true account of her pregnancy experience.

As I delved into the book, I was immediately drawn in by McCarthy's witty and engaging writing style.

She doesn't hold back in sharing the ups and downs, the joys and the challenges of being pregnant.

From the morning sickness to the strange cravings, she describes it all with a sense of humor that makes it both relatable and entertaining.

Each chapter feels like a conversation with a friend, and I found myself laughing out loud at many of her anecdotes.

It's not just a book about pregnancy; it's a celebration of the journey and all the unique experiences that come with it.

I would highly recommend this book to any expectant mother or anyone who wants to get a humorous and honest look at what it's like to be pregnant.

It's a quick and enjoyable read that will leave you with a smile on your face and a better understanding of the miracle of life.

I just finished this book.

It was indeed a quick read, which was quite convenient for my busy schedule.

The content of the book was both funny and insightful. It had its moments that made me chuckle and also provided some thought-provoking ideas.

However, I have to admit that it wasn't as funny as I initially expected. Maybe my expectations were set a bit too high.

This book was recommended to me by my friend, and I'm glad I took their advice.

Overall, it was a good read. What made it even more enjoyable was that I could relate to some of the situations and characters in the book.

This connection added an extra layer of fun and made me feel more engaged with the story.

I would definitely recommend this book to others who are looking for a light-hearted and entertaining read with a touch of wisdom.

I purchased this book for my sister when she was anticipating the arrival of her very first child.

As I began flipping through the pages, it somehow managed to draw me in.

Jenny's sense of humor is truly hilarious throughout the entire book.

After reading it, I am completely certain that I have no desire to have any kids in the near future.

There are just far too many gory details that have put me off.

LOL, it's quite the eye-opener!

This book has definitely given me a new perspective on what it means to have children.

It's not all sunshine and rainbows as some might think.

But despite the rather graphic details, it was still an entertaining read.

I would recommend it to anyone who wants a brutally honest look at the reality of parenthood.

This book, in my opinion, was a rather shallow one.

It did touch upon some of the more embarrassing and less appealing aspects of pregnancy. However, I also had the impression that it exaggerated these elements.

I liked the fact that Jenny focused on the comfort zone. It is indeed crucial to embrace pregnancy and give in to the gear that provides comfort, even if it may not be the sexiest thing one has ever worn.

Nevertheless, I was dissatisfied with some of her choices and attitudes regarding labor, delivery, and breastfeeding.

I truly believe that if Jenny were to rewrite this book today, it would be very different. Her son was diagnosed with Autism, and she has now become an advocate for natural foods and such.

I firmly believe that she has changed since the writing of this book.

Overall, it is a very light and easy read, with big words (by which I mean the typeface, not the intellectual level!). However, it does not really offer words of wisdom.
