Skirta vyrams, bet puikiai tinka moterims. Tai antra mano skaityta Chapman knyga. Ši knyga tarsi papildymas pirmosios skaitytos knygos. Manau puiku sau nuolat priminti dalykus, ką galime vienas dėl kito. :)

Fantastic for understanding yourself and how you communicate love. There is a great quiz online to help you further figure this out. Also it should make you more sensitive towards other peoples' way of receiving and expressing love. Useful for ANY type of relationship in my view, not only love relationships.

This book is 40 pages less than The 5 Love Languages. I read both (the latter I read 3x) and I have absolutely no idea why this is a separate book. Apart from being a money grab and padding the resume, this book is such a waste of time if you already read The 5 Love Languages. 2% of this book might contain new content the rest is the exact same. I relistened to The 5 Love Languages literally a day prior to hearing this so there’s no question about it.

Same book, new title.

The original is fantastic, but this being sold as a “new” edition when it offers next to nothing new renders it deserving of 1 star.

Funny enough, he mentioned in the end how a male reader said he wanted to give The 5 Love Languages to his buddies but that the cover looked girly and that “I can’t give that to a man”.

While I can understand the trepidation, if a grown adult is passing up on bettering their lives because a cover is too girly, then they have a long way to go in actually maturing as a person (especially when that book is a direct recommendation from a friend).

That’s so unbelievably childish. That’s like being thirsty and complaining that your plastic water bottle is pink….grow up.

I really liked this book. It has the same ideas, and even some of the same stories that the couples edition has. I did feel that this edition is a little more concise and to the point, so it didn’t seem as long. I highly recommend this to any man who is in or wanting to be in a relationship! It is directed more to men, but I felt it is just as beneficial for women.

Very insightful read. Highly recommend. Set your ego aside and learn some great tips!

Very eye opening. My wife and I have a good relationship, but this book helped me to understand why we sometimes hit bumps in the road. She recommended I read this and I’m grateful for the insight it provided. Highly recommend for any marriage or long term relationship.

So, this is my third dive into Gary Chapman's love language world. This book, however is aimed at guys, but I couldn't resist peeking. It's the same 5 Love Languages, now directly for the fellas.
My hubby, being the cheeky one actually did the test with me. But get this: today as he's playing chef he turns to me and says "Come on, love, let's speak my love language – help me cook dinner!" Looks like I'll be giving him a hand – all in the name of love of course!

This was an awsome book. Geared towards men, it was very easy to get into. lots of pictures, graphs, charts. the questions and format was easy to read. if I were to write a book i would definitely choose this type of format. If you have a husband who needs this book i highly recommended it. It's worth getting this one for men as opposed to sharing the original book.

Truly an insightful book

I absolutely believe everyone should read a Love language book. In our world communication skills are lacking. I believe that if you apply these practical ways to show love in the language your loved one receives love you will have a relationship like no other.

Personally, I enjoyed this book and it actually is a good reading of love languages through a point of view of a man; however, there were still some eye opening sections and knowledge that I hope to use not only use myself and with others.

It’s a good book if you have no exposure to The Five Love Languages material, but if you’ve read the other books then this one feels like a bit of a redundant cash crab. This one is theoretically specific to men, but I feel like men would be better off reading the generic book (although, to be fair, it’s been forever since I’ve read that one).

I read all his books, not because there is anything new but it is like a manual for me to remember from time to time. and how to resolve any problem of my relationships, with my teens and with my husband.
Every time I remember sth different depending on the situation I am having.
I would recommend this to anyone!
