This is such a great book. It talks about death, how to expect it and receive it. I really loved it.

Death is a topic that many people are afraid to face or even discuss. However, this book approaches it in a unique and profound way. It makes you think about the inevitability of death and how we should prepare ourselves for it.

The author's insights and perspectives are truly eye-opening. They offer a different way of looking at death, not as something to be feared, but as a natural part of life. Reading this book has given me a newfound appreciation for the preciousness of life and the importance of making the most of every moment.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in exploring the topic of death or simply wants to gain a deeper understanding of life and its meaning.

I have a doubt whether to consider it as a long short story or a short novel, but in the end it doesn't matter much, because it is such a well-told story in no more than 70 pages.

I enjoyed it and suffered through it. I don't know why the theme of mother and son always elicits mixed feelings in me, and I think that, because of this, I was able to feel empathy with the protagonist and capture the message that the novel leaves you at the end, something far from reality. Just for this reason, this story is going to be among my favorites of the year.

It is highly recommendable!

A few days ago I read it and really found this short story very interesting!

A young man goes to lift weights in order to go to the hospital to see his mother, but then he is taken away by someone special....

I have forgotten all the names already but it's really a nice short story.

It seems that the young man has a strong motivation to visit his mother in the hospital. Maybe he wants to show her that he is getting stronger and can take care of himself.

The fact that he is taken away by someone special adds an element of mystery to the story.

We don't know who this person is or what their intentions are.

It makes the reader curious to find out what will happen next.

Overall, this short story has a simple yet engaging plot that leaves room for the reader's imagination.

It makes you think about the relationship between the young man and his mother, as well as the unknown person who takes him away.

I would love to know more about the story and how it ends.

Maybe there is a hidden meaning or a twist that I haven't discovered yet.

This is a novella that offers an incredibly fast listening experience on audio, taking approximately 2 hours.

So, if you find yourself short on time yet still eager to indulge in a great story, this is definitely worth a try.

The essence of the story is as follows: A young male college student decides to hitchhike to visit his mother who has been hospitalized due to a stroke.

The men who give him a lift end up changing his life forever, not only in terms of how he views himself as a person but also in many other aspects.

Surprisingly, it's not a horror story despite having some rather scary elements. Nor is it a psychological thriller, although it does manage to mess with your mind and pose some truly awful questions that many of us have privately asked ourselves.

Although it's not easily categorized, it's a highly enjoyable, edge-of-your-seat tale that will keep you on the edge of your seat, constantly yearning to know what happens next. This feeling, at least for me, is similar to that of turning on the light before entering a room. :P

This is a very good story. As is often the case with me, King's short stories don't dazzle me as much as his novels. However, "Riding the Bullet" is a touching and rather disturbing story about the relationship and destiny of Alan Parker and his mother.

It can be read in a short time and is definitely worth it. The story delves into the complex emotions and experiences of the characters, making it both engaging and thought-provoking.

King has a unique ability to create vivid characters and build tension, even in a short story format. In "Riding the Bullet," he manages to do just that, drawing the reader in and keeping them hooked until the very end.

Overall, while it may not be one of King's greatest works, "Riding the Bullet" is still a solid and enjoyable read that fans of his work will appreciate.

A short story that lasts for 2 hours.

Actually, I could never establish a connection with short stories until someone comes and enjoys reading a book and the story is over!

This book was also like that.

It had an interesting subject. It couldn't be said that it was terrifying, but it was mysterious.

You can listen to its voice with the voice of Taimaz Radvani, which in my opinion is one of the best voices after Arman Soltanzadeh.

Good translation.

My score is 2/5.

Stephen King is truly a master at telling stories. He is a born narrator. Few writers can draw you in with their words page after page, and King is most definitely one of them.

‘Riding the Bullet’ (2000) is a long horror tale starring Alan Parker, a twenty-one-year-old college student. One fine day, Alan receives a call from his neighbor with bad news: his mother has suffered a stroke while at work and is hospitalized. Alan, without his own vehicle, has no choice but to hitchhike to the hospital that very day. What seems like an innocent journey will turn into a nightmare.

In just under a hundred pages, King is able to instill fear in our bodies. It's a great story from the Master of Maine.

His vivid descriptions and engaging plot keep readers on the edge of their seats throughout. The way he builds up the tension and creates a sense of unease is truly remarkable. King has a unique ability to tap into our deepest fears and make us believe in the supernatural.

‘Riding the Bullet’ is a prime example of his talent as a horror writer. It's a story that will stay with you long after you've finished reading it.

This work is truly remarkable. It is highly original, presenting a unique perspective and approach that immediately catches the eye.

The agility within it is also quite impressive. The ideas flow smoothly and effortlessly, as if they are dancing on the page.

Additionally, there is a certain tetrical quality that gives it a distinct charm. It has a rhythm and a cadence that draw the reader in and keep them engaged from start to finish.

Overall, I absolutely adored this piece. It is a shining example of creativity and talent, and I look forward to seeing more works like it in the future.

I absolutely loved it.

It is a tale of not too much complexity, yet I think it is one of the best of King's works.

I found that it had neither too much nor too little, and it can be read very quickly.

It has the classic horror of the author; nevertheless, it is also a very human story that can touch your emotions and make you meditate on the situation from the perspective where the main character is yourself.

The simplicity of the narrative allows the reader to easily immerse themselves in the story and experience the horror and the humanity within it.

King has a unique way of creating characters and situations that draw you in and keep you engaged until the very end.

This story is no exception, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good horror story with a touch of humanity.

Overall, it was a great read that left a lasting impression on me.

Fun is indeed fun, and once something is done, it's over.

During my trip, it was truly a pleasant experience to read this again. It's such a short piece, yet it manages to evoke a sense of nostalgia. The simplicity of the words holds a certain charm that can transport you back to memories or moments that were filled with fun and a sense of finality. It makes you realize that while the fun may come and go, the memories it leaves behind can be cherished. Each time you read these words, it's like reliving those precious moments, even if just for a brief instant. It's a reminder that life is full of such experiences, and we should hold onto them and appreciate the joy they bring.

King is truly at his creepy/horror best as always.

His works have the power to send shivers down our spines and keep us on the edge of our seats.

Whether it's his vivid descriptions of supernatural entities or his ability to create an atmosphere of dread, King never fails to deliver.

His characters are often ordinary people thrust into extraordinary and terrifying situations, making it easy for readers to put themselves in their shoes.

From haunted houses to malevolent creatures, King explores the darkest corners of our imagination and brings them to life on the page.

His stories have become classics of the horror genre, inspiring countless imitators but never being truly surpassed.

Whether you're a die-hard horror fan or just looking for a good scare, King's work is sure to satisfy.

So sit back, turn out the lights, and prepare to be scared out of your wits by the master of horror himself.
