"Give me what I want, and I will leave you in peace."

It was wonderful to meet Linoj again, this time in the scenario. Even better, she had forgotten some details of the story. But although she remembered almost everything, she was still on tenterhooks in the tense moments.

Here is a review from another bookworm: http://knigoqdec.blogspot.bg/2016/09/....

The encounter with Linoj in the new scenario brought a sense of excitement and anticipation. The fact that she had forgotten certain details added an element of mystery and made the experience even more engaging. As the story unfolded, she found herself on the edge of her seat during the intense moments, her heart pounding with anticipation.

The review from the other bookworm provided an interesting perspective and perhaps a hint of what was to come. It made her eager to explore the blog further and see what other insights and opinions she could discover.

Overall, this new chapter in her literary journey was shaping up to be an exciting and unforgettable one.

The good old King. An engaging plot. A fierce battle between two masterfully drawn protagonists. A well-orchestrated touch of the supernatural. A community behind whose seemingly virtuous facade, sins, egoism, and hypocrisy are hidden. An unexpected fork in the road towards the end, which raises questions and creates great empathy. An extraordinary story, then? No, because it is written in the form of a screenplay and, as happens with theatrical works if put on paper, it turns out to be cold and difficult to read. What a pity. Translated into the form of a novel, it would have become one of his literary masterpieces, in my opinion.

The screenplay format often lacks the depth and detail that a novel can provide. The characters, while well-drawn, may not come to life as fully on the page as they would in a novel. The plot, although engaging, may seem rushed or lacking in substance. The supernatural elements, which could have been a great addition, may not have the same impact in a screenplay as they would in a novel.

If the author were to rewrite this story as a novel, he could expand on the characters, their motivations, and their relationships. He could add more detail to the plot, creating a more immersive and engaging reading experience. The supernatural elements could be explored in more depth, adding an extra layer of mystery and intrigue. Overall, the story has great potential, but it needs to be presented in a more suitable format to truly shine.

I have to admit that I'm not a big enthusiast when it comes to reading screenplays. So, for me, really getting into this one was quite a challenge.

In my personal opinion, the overall story was just mediocre. It did manage to build up a fair amount of suspense, which was somewhat engaging. However, I found myself getting extremely annoyed with Linoge and his constant refrain of "give me what I want and I will leave." It felt rather repetitive and predictable.

I can't help but think that if this had been written as a novel instead of a screenplay, I probably would have enjoyed it a great deal more. The detailed descriptions and the ability to really explore the characters' thoughts and emotions in a more in-depth manner would have made a significant difference.

As it stands, while it had its moments, it didn't quite manage to fully capture my interest and leave a lasting impression.

The dated genre, for the most part, seems to have lost its charm. In this era of modern rational thinking, devil stories often come across as null and void. They lack the authenticity and plausibility that today's audiences demand. However, King's new direction is a breath of fresh air. It works better for me as it brings a new perspective and a more engaging narrative. His ability to combine elements of the supernatural with real-life emotions and experiences makes his stories truly captivating.

Perhaps it is because King understands that in order to succeed in a changing literary landscape, one must be willing to adapt and evolve. His new works show that he is not afraid to take risks and explore new territory. This willingness to experiment is what makes him such a great writer.

The plot is good. It catches you from beginning to end.

Although it takes you a while to get used to the annotations of the book as it is a TV script....

However, I hate the ending.

It really disappoints me.

I have been so engaged in the story, following the characters and their development.

The build-up has been great, creating anticipation and excitement.

But then, the ending just doesn't live up to my expectations.

It feels rushed or maybe not well thought out.

Overall, despite the good plot and the initial grip it has on you, the ending leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

I still think it's a decent read, but that ending really mars the overall experience.

I hope the author could have come up with a more satisfying conclusion.

Storm of the Century started off with great intensity and promise.

However, as the plot unfolded, it took a turn towards the silly and lost some of its appeal for me.

The story centers around the residents of Little Tall Island who find themselves isolated from the outside world after a powerful storm. Trapped with them is a violent Stranger.

King slowly introduces supernatural elements throughout the narrative. Some of these elements are masterfully executed, adding an air of mystery and excitement.

Yet, others feel a bit forced or underdeveloped.

Despite these flaws, the book remains entertaining. For a King novel, it's a relatively quick read.

Although initially, the screenplay format makes it a bit difficult to get into, once you adjust, it can be quite engaging.

Overall, while not one of King's best works, Storm of the Century still has its moments and is worth a read for fans of his.

It is a magnificent script. After a short period of adaptation, it reads like a novel. Exceptionally, one can safely omit the preface. The plot is completely thrilling and really creepy in some places.

The story unfolds in a way that keeps the reader on the edge of their seat. Every twist and turn adds to the excitement. The vivid descriptions bring the scenes to life, making it easy to imagine oneself in the middle of the action.

Despite its horror elements, there is also a certain charm to the script. It explores themes of mystery, fear, and the unknown. It makes the reader question what lies beyond our perception and what might lurk in the shadows.

Overall, this is a script that is sure to captivate any reader. Whether you are a fan of horror, mystery, or just a good story, it has something to offer. It is a must-read for those who enjoy being entertained and challenged by their reading material.

WOW! A throwback to King's most evil villains and horrific plots. It's truly a journey into the dark recesses of his imagination.

When a small island off the coast of Maine is struck by a rare weather convergence that spawns an overwhelmingly powerful and deadly storm, the residents flee to the town hall for safety and to care for one another. However, unbeknownst to them, a demon has already infiltrated their community. This malevolent entity will gradually force them into an ungodly bargain from which there seems to be no escape.

When faced with the choice between a good possible outcome and a bad one in his story, King always opts for the most horrific. His narrative perfectly matches the unrelenting storm he vividly describes and the monstrous antagonist that haunts the characters. But then again, we love King precisely for his ability to terrify us, so it's all right with us.

As for the fact that King has presented the story in the form of a script (teleplay), I find it rather unfortunate. It's one of the reasons this story is so little known. While he claims that the story demanded to be told in that way and that it's better to tell it that way than not at all, I can't help but feel that the voice of a novel's narrator has a more direct connection with the reader. It engages the reader on a deeper level compared to a screenwriter providing the tools for a director to make a movie. In the latter case, the audience is one step removed and has to put in a little more effort to fully experience the story. But given the power of this particular story, I'm certain it's well worth the effort.

Weird/Not my thing.

Some things in life just seem really strange or don't quite resonate with us. It could be a particular style of art that we find too abstract and hard to understand. Maybe it's a type of food that has an unusual combination of flavors or a texture that we can't get used to. Or perhaps it's a new trend that everyone else seems to be excited about, but it just doesn't appeal to us at all.

We all have our own unique tastes and preferences, and what might be weird or not our thing for one person could be someone else's favorite. It's important to embrace our individuality and not feel pressured to like or do everything that others do. After all, life would be pretty boring if we all had the exact same likes and dislikes.

So, the next time you come across something that you think is weird or not your thing, don't be too quick to judge. Instead, try to keep an open mind and understand that everyone has their own perspective. And who knows, maybe with a little time and exposure, that thing that seemed so weird at first might just grow on you.

In my opinion, this book was far superior to “Cujo”, the book I read last quarter. I truly liked this book as it boasted an incredibly interesting story and engaging characters. What makes it even more fascinating is that it is based on a true story, specifically America's Deadliest Natural Disaster: The Great Gulf Hurricane of 1900. In a matter of less than twenty-four hours, a single storm managed to completely destroy a major American metropolis.

The plot of the book revolves around the residents of Little Tall Island who find themselves caught in the worst storm of their lives. As they struggle to figure out how to survive the storm, there is an additional element of horror. There’s a monster in the town! A mysterious stranger named Andre Linoge murders an elderly civilian. It is soon revealed that he is the antagonist of the story, and in fact, a 4000-year-old wizard! The protagonist is Mike Anderson.

In conclusion, this book is truly amazing! There is also a 1999 movie based on it. The plot and everything about it is really cool and something that you should definitely give a try! Discover how they manage to survive the blizzard and the menacing old witch.

Amo quella coppa larga e corta. It has a certain charm that is hard to resist. The short and wide shape gives it a unique look.

Con quel beccuccio, it becomes even more endearing. The little spout adds a touch of character to the overall design.

E’ ancora più storta, yet this imperfection only enhances its allure. It shows that this cup has a story to tell, a history that makes it special.

E’ una vecchia coppa, an old cup that has seen many years. It has witnessed countless moments of joy and perhaps a few tears.

è un incanto, it is truly enchanting. Despite not being new, it still manages to capture the heart and bring a smile to the face.

Non è nuova, but that doesn't matter. Its value lies not in its novelty but in the memories and emotions it evokes.

ma piace tanto, it is loved dearly. This old cup holds a special place in the heart, a place that cannot be filled by any new and shiny object.

Excelente narración. The story has a great flow and engages the reader from start to finish. However, the way it is presented in a script format works against it to some extent. If we were to ignore the format and imagine the story as a novel, it would be truly excellent.

The characters are well-developed and their actions and decisions drive the plot forward. The dialogue is natural and adds depth to the story. The setting is vividly described, allowing the reader to easily picture the scenes in their mind.

Overall, this is a great piece of work that shows a lot of promise. With a few adjustments to the format, it could be an even more outstanding story. I look forward to seeing more from the author in the future.
