Mine is an absolutely amazing book penned by the talented author Robert Mccammon. Just as it is written on the cover, "A Novel Of Terror", one must be prepared to be truly terrorized!! Right from the very first chapter, you will find yourself asking, "WTF am I reading?" There are some really difficult-to-read passages within it, yet always presented in McCammon's premium writing style. This novel clearly ranks among my top 3 best reads of 2021! It is a truly remarkable piece of work that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. The vivid descriptions and intense plot make it a must-read for any lover of the horror genre. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. It is a solid 5 stars without a doubt!!!
Oh my goodness, this was extremely intense. I had to put the book down numerous times during the reading process.
The story begins with a former hippie who has turned into a terrorist and kidnaps a newborn child.
The real mother, of course, is desperate to get her child back.
As a result, chaos ensues. The mother's frantic search for her child leads to a series of events that are both thrilling and heart-wrenching.
The reader is left on the edge of their seat, wondering if the mother will ever be reunited with her child and what will happen to the kidnapper.
This book is a real page-turner and I can't wait to see how it all ends.
Was this book perfect? The answer is an absolute no. There were certain parts within it that were so outrageously far-fetched that it bordered on the ridiculous. However, do I care about those flaws? Not one single bit. You see, I was completely engrossed in every single minute of this thrilling read. It had me on the edge of my seat, turning the pages with anticipation. The story was so captivating that I couldn't put it down. And because of this, I will unhesitatingly recommend it to everyone I know. Whether they are avid readers or just looking for a good escape, this book has something for everyone. It may not be perfect, but it sure is a wild ride that I highly recommend.
