The Baxters hold a truly special place deep within my heart.

This particular account is always the most difficult for me to peruse.

As a two-time cancer survivor myself, and being nearly the same age as Elizabeth in this story, it really strikes a chord that is extremely close to home.

I find myself constantly hoping that when my own borrowed time has been completely used up, I will be able to approach eternity with the same sense of peace and readiness that Elizabeth so beautifully demonstrates.

Her example serves as a powerful inspiration, making me reflect on my own journey and the importance of living each day to the fullest and being prepared for whatever lies ahead.

It makes me realize that no matter what challenges we face in life, having the right attitude and a peaceful spirit can make all the difference in the world.

I feel incredibly good that I finished this series of books today, and at the same time, the year is ending.

It's as if I've become intimately acquainted with the Baxters family. I can vividly picture their lives, their joys, and their sorrows.

I already miss them deeply, as if they were real people I've left behind.

These books have truly captured my heart and have had a profound influence on my life.

They have taught me many valuable lessons.

Until we realize that suffering is an inherent part of this fallen world, we cannot fully accept Christ in a personal and meaningful way.

We all have lessons to learn, and God will use all kinds of people and situations to teach us those lessons.

These books have served as a powerful reminder of that truth, and I am grateful for the experience of reading them.

I look forward to seeing how the lessons I've learned will continue to shape and transform my life in the years to come.

The cute series has wonderful values.

Sometimes, the storylines can be predictable, while at other times, they take unexpected turns.

However, there is a slight drawback as there is a bit too much emphasis on the characters' repetitive and cliché thoughts rather than on the progression of the plot.

Despite this, after finishing one book, I couldn't help but pick up the next one.

In fact, I'll probably even read the next series.

This shows that, overall, the plot progressed just enough to maintain my attention and keep me engaged.

The charm of the cute series lies not only in its values but also in its ability to hold the reader's interest, even with its minor flaws.

It makes me look forward to seeing what adventures and developments await in the future installments.

My library had only two of the five books of this series - Remember and Reunion.

Remember wasn't very good, but Reunion was better.

This series seriously overemphasizes the importance of physical beauty. It seems sadly superficial to be so focused on surface values.

I had mixed feelings about this book.

Much of the story felt like a soap opera, juvenile, and often contrived and unrealistic.

Her adult characters are ridiculously immature. I was repelled by how adult Christians in the story responded hysterically and meanly to difficulties, with the maturity of a 13-year-old.

Personally, I haven't noticed that Christians in real life respond more histrionically to problems. In fact, it's quite the opposite. But Kingsbury's characters do way too much emotional over-reacting and not nearly enough pro-active thinking and doing. They should just deal with problems like other adult humans do!

However, when the characters finally do start seeking answers in prayer, Scripture, and counseling and begin to think and communicate, some actual maturity and biblical insights emerge. They just take a very long time to get there!

On the positive side, the Bible lessons she incorporates into the solutions to the problems are spot-on once she finally gets around to them.

If I ever read any other Kingsbury books, I will have learned the necessity of skimming over the juvenile hysterical junk and looking for the essence of the scriptural life lessons.

This was indeed a great conclusion to the series.

It neatly tied up all the loose ends, providing a sense of closure while simultaneously opening the door to future installments.

There were still enough unanswered questions to maintain an air of mystery and intrigue, yet not so many as to leave the reader feeling frustrated or cheated out of a definitive ending.

I find myself unexpectedly excited to continue reading the series.

Admittedly, I felt that some of the previous books in this series had a tendency to drag on, but I have high hopes that the next installment will manage to hold my interest firmly.

The combination of a satisfying conclusion and the promise of more to come has left me eager to see what lies ahead in this captivating series.

Book #5 in this amazing and wonderful series is truly a gem. It rates as a 5 hankie as well as a 5-star read.

Originally, I was reluctant to read any of the Baxter series books because I didn't want to commit to such a large number of them. However, I was completely wrong.

In this particular book, more secrets are gradually revealed, adding an element of mystery and excitement. At the same time, new mercies come to light, showing the power of grace and forgiveness.

There were moments when I thought the story bordered on the improbable. But then I would remind myself that through God, all things are possible. This realization added a deeper layer of meaning to the narrative and made me appreciate the story even more.

Overall, this book is a must-read for fans of the series and anyone who enjoys a well-written, heartwarming story.

Oh my word.

I have to admit that I shed tears with every book I read, but this particular one was truly difficult. It brought out so many emotions in me that I found myself crying uncontrollably at times.

The story had a secret that intrigued me, and I really wished more had happened with it. There was so much potential for further exploration and development.

Moreover, I also longed for more time to be spent on showing the family's reaction to the secret. How would they cope? What would be the consequences?

These are the aspects that I felt could have been expanded upon to make the story even more engaging and impactful.

Despite my wishes for more, I still found the book to be a powerful and moving read that left a lasting impression on me.

I look forward to seeing what the author comes up with next.

The final book in Karen Kingsbury’s “Redemption” series was truly a remarkable conclusion.

Elizabeth Baxter had lived for many years without a recurrence of her cancer. However, as the old saying goes, all good things must come to an end. The Baxter family was planning a reunion, aware deep down that this might be the last one where everyone would be present.

Simultaneously, as the reunion plans were in full swing, there were also plans for a beautiful wedding. As Elizabeth fought her battle with cancer, memories of her biggest secret constantly came to mind.

Meanwhile, in Hollywood, a famous actor named Dayne Matthews was on a quest to uncover the remaining pieces of his past. The results not only shocked him but also excited him.

Experiencing the sorrow and pain of the Baxter family was surprisingly one of the highlights of the book. Throughout the series, readers had become deeply connected to the characters, and the ending was just as emotional as all the previous books.

I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone who desires to complete the series or wishes to witness genuine family love, pure and complete. It is a story that will touch your heart and leave you with a sense of hope and inspiration.

I fell in love with the Baxter family from book 1.

It was an immediate and profound connection. So, it's no surprise that I'm going to love it even more as the story progresses.

Yes, it's true that the books might be a bit predictable at times. But really, who cares about predictability when the message they convey is so strong and powerful?

It's truly wonderful to see scripture incorporated into a fiction book. It adds a layer of depth and authenticity that makes the story so much more than just a work of fiction.

Because we know that God is real, these books take on a whole new meaning. They become a source of inspiration and a reminder of the power of faith in our lives.

The Baxter family's story is one that I can't wait to continue reading, and I know that it will touch my heart and soul with each new installment.

I was really looking forward to this book. I had this assumption that there would be a happy ending. However, nope! This whole book was depressing as eff.

It doesn't help that the book was all about Elizabeth dying. I just went through a similar situation with a family member, so I could hardly get through the book. I felt like the author wrote this book more with the intention of teaching a lesson rather than telling a story. (Hey, make your life count!)

I also felt like Karen tried to wrap things up and make all the kids' stories all happy and hunky dory to compensate for this super sad book. I did not like how she threw in the secret son. I felt like his character was thought up specifically for this book and to create another series, but it didn't seem to fit in with the four previous books.

Really, they kept that a secret all this time, even when two of their kids had babies out of wedlock? To me, this whole book was a flop. It didn't meet my expectations at all and left me feeling disappointed.

I simply could not put this book down.

Seriously, the moment I opened the pages of this story, the characters and the scenarios they were experiencing truly came alive for me. It was as if I was right there with them, sharing in their joys and sorrows.

I haven't read an overly large number of Christian fiction books that I've truly enjoyed. However, now that I've completed this one, I have an intense desire to check out Karen Kingsbury's other books. This is especially the case since this is the last one in the initial series.

No character in this book is perfect, but that's what makes it so wonderful. There is an abundance that can be learned from imperfection. Scripture and God play a significant role in the development of the characters, and it feels so realistic that it doesn't give the impression of being an agenda or pushy to me.

I am excitedly looking forward to finding and reading more books from this series. I can't wait to see what other精彩的 stories and lessons Karen Kingsbury has in store for her readers.

I have a deep affection for delving into the lives of John and Elizabeth Baxter. They are the mother and father of the Baxter family whom I have come to "know" and "love" by reading all the Baxter family books.

The previous volumes have provided a window into the lives of each of their children. Therefore, I truly relished learning about how the couple met, the difficulties and tribulations they initially faced, and how the Baxter family first began.

I don't wish to disclose too much about the storyline. However, this was the most poignant installment of the series, filled with the most miracles. It truly emphasized and spotlighted what it means to have a relationship with God and to recognize Him as your Heavenly Father. Elizabeth's character, in particular, touched my heart with her quiet, gentle, and maternal spirit. It was beautiful and inspiring.

This entire series managed to demonstrate what true faith really is. I can envision these books touching the hearts of many for God and revealing the difference between Love and religion.
