I’m truly glad to have completed this series. There were indeed certain moments within it that were truly excellent and captivating. However, there were also long stretches where I found myself doing a lot of skimming through their rather tiresome blather.

Overall, I’m glad that I took the time to read it. But, to be honest, I don’t think I would pick it up and read it again. Nor would I necessarily recommend it to others without some hesitation.

When it comes to Christian fiction, in my opinion, this series simply doesn’t hold a candle to the wonderful world of Mitford. Mitford has a charm, a depth, and a spiritual essence that this series just can’t quite match.

Perhaps others may have a different perspective, but for me, this is how I feel about this particular series.

I cannot say enough about this book

or the entire series. It has been an absolute delight to embark on this literary journey with the Baxter Family. Each page has been filled with emotions, love, and heartwarming stories that have truly touched my soul.

I can honestly say I was sad to finish this book because it was the last in this series and I didn’t want it to end. The characters have become so real to me, and I have grown attached to them as if they were my own family.

I feel like I’m a part of the Baxter Family❤️. Their joys and sorrows have become my own, and I will miss them dearly. This series has left a lasting impression on me, and I will cherish it for a long time to come. I highly recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who loves a good family drama filled with love, laughter, and tears.

The final book in the first Baxter series has arrived, and it brings with it a heart-wrenching turn of events.

Elizabeth, a beloved character, finds herself facing a terrifying battle once again as her cancer returns.

The story follows Elizabeth's journey as she confronts this new challenge with courage and determination.

Readers will be on the edge of their seats as they witness her fight for survival, her relationships tested, and her inner strength put to the ultimate test.

The author has masterfully crafted a tale that is both emotional and engaging, making it a must-read for fans of the series.

Don't miss out on the conclusion of Elizabeth's story and the final installment of the Baxter series.

This book was truly great.

It had such a profound impact on me that it made me weep on multiple occasions.

The gut wrenching hindsight of parental roles really hit home, probably because I can relate to it on a personal level.

The ending, although very sweet, left me with a bit of a longing.

I was hoping that it would end in a different way, perhaps leaving something for later to build anticipation or create a sense of mystery.

However, I guess the author had a different vision and chose to end it as they did.

Overall, this book was a powerful and emotional read that I would highly recommend to others.

It made me think deeply about the relationships between parents and children and the choices we make in life.

I will definitely be keeping this book in my collection and may even read it again in the future.

Wowwwww, these Baxters really don't have a dull moment!

It seems that every day is filled with excitement and adventure for them. Whether it's going on wild outings, trying new and crazy activities, or simply getting into hilarious situations, there's always something happening in their lives.

The Baxters are like a whirlwind of energy, constantly on the move and always ready for the next big thing. Their enthusiasm is contagious, and it's impossible not to be swept up in their adventures as you hear about them.

You can't help but wonder what kind of crazy escapade they'll get into next. Will they go skydiving, explore an abandoned building, or have a wild party? The possibilities are endless, and that's what makes the Baxters so fascinating.

One thing's for sure, with the Baxters around, there's never a dull moment. They live life to the fullest and embrace every opportunity that comes their way. It's no wonder they have such a high star rating!

It only took me a year to finish this series, and it was an absolute delight.

Although it was sad at times, it was also truly wonderful. Having lost my own Mother to cancer, I found this book to be beautifully written.

I was deeply connected to Elizabeth and her journey. From the very beginning to the end, I was completely invested.

In fact, I was so invested that I'm going to start the Fame tomorrow.

This was definitely a 5-star read, and if you haven't read about the Baxter family, you really need to pick up this series!!

It offers a captivating and emotional experience that will stay with you long after you've turned the last page.

Don't miss out on this amazing literary adventure.

Give it a try and you'll be glad you did.

Heartbreaking Ending.

Tears stream down my face as I recall the memories of my mother's death. I miss her deeply and long to meet my Lord and Savior. I have many beloved family members and friends in heaven, and I can't wait for the greatest reunion of my own.

In the Baxter family drama ranking, "Reunion" takes the top spot. It represents the moment when we will all be together again, a time of joy and celebration. "Rejoice" follows closely, as we will be filled with happiness and gratitude in the presence of our loved ones. "Redemption" is also an important theme, as we find forgiveness and healing in the afterlife. "Return" symbolizes our journey back to God and the eternal home He has prepared for us. And finally, "Remember" reminds us to hold onto the memories of those we have lost and to cherish the time we had with them.

These rankings capture the essence of the Baxter family's story and the hope that lies within it.

A truly terrible book.

I wept approximately five times, yet I couldn't care less about the mom. Just because all the "characters" are like the mom doesn't mean I am. I had scarcely seen her speak before reading this book. I would describe this book in one word, and that word is "salad" because there were literally three pages (in different parts of the book) where she simply told you what she used to make a freaking salad.

For me, the most sorrowful part of this book was a line by the dad (which would have had an even greater impact if he got sick because, unlike the mom, he's an okay character). I quote, "...felt Elizabeth beside him, felt her hand on his shoulder, her soothing fingers near the base of his neck. She meant to comfort him, but her touch only made him sadder than before... in far too few days, her hand on his shoulder wouldn't be a comfort to him. It would be a memory." That line really hit me hard, and no kidding, that's the best part of the book.

Most of this book is just "boo hoo I'm sad, but wait!" and then "a calming peace washed over them." No joke, that happened at least three times. The only good characters in this are Ashley, Landon, Cole, and maybe Luke. Everyone else is a blank slate. The characters are so forgettable that I forgot Tim (that one guy from the first book) got MURDERED. How on earth do you forget something like that? That's how forgettable everyone is.

If I were you, I would skip this one. Or if you (for some reason) REALLY want to read them, skip the first and go read the second. That is by far the best one out of the series.

For me, this book was truly the crown jewel of this series.

Karen Kingsbury has an extraordinary talent for breathing life into her characters. She crafts them with such detail and authenticity that they seem to leap off the pages and into the reader's imagination.

The way she develops their personalities, emotions, and relationships is simply captivating. It's as if we are given a front-row seat to their lives, experiencing every joy, heartbreak, and triumph right along with them.

Her writing style is engaging and easy to follow, making it impossible to put the book down. From the very first page, I was hooked and couldn't wait to see what would happen next.

This book is not just a story; it's an experience that will stay with you long after you've turned the final page. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good read.

What an Amazing Series

It has truly been a remarkable journey that has taken me several years to complete this series. Each time I would pick up the book where I left off, I would immediately be captivated and drawn right back into the enchanting story. I have developed a deep love for the Baxter family. Although it is not my own family, I find numerous aspects within it that I desire to imitate and learn from. This is especially true when it comes to my marriage and the way I raise my children. The Redemption series has been nothing short of outstanding, and this particular book served as a perfect and satisfying conclusion. It tied up all the loose ends and left me with a sense of fulfillment and a longing to revisit the story again in the future.

This book holds the position of #5 in the captivating Redemption series of the Baxters.

The story delves deep into the life of Elizabeth, centering around her diagnosis and her heartfelt desire to have a reunion week for the entire family.

In the midst of Elizabeth's situation, each of the Baxter children finds a reason to celebrate, and at first glance, everything seems to be unfolding smoothly for the family.

However, this book takes a significant turn as the long-held secret that John and Elizabeth have been keeping from their family all these years is finally brought to the forefront and discussed.

This revelation adds a layer of complexity and drama to the already engaging narrative, leaving readers on the edge of their seats, eager to discover how it will impact the Baxter family and their relationships.

The Redemption series continues to captivate readers with its relatable characters, emotional storylines, and the exploration of family dynamics in the face of both joy and turmoil.
